I absolutely hate the trip this company has taken me on. It's a horribly "planned" high school band and choir trip to Washington DC and New York City. Having not ever been to either of these places before, I have full confidence that I could have planned a better trip. The schedule keeps switching around throughout the trip, the dates are wrong in the itinerary, and everyone is quite confused about what is happening.
We spent way too long at many of the monuments around DC and not nearly enough time at other places such as the Smithsonian and the National Constitution building. Also, it was way too expensive, see as how many of the places we went to were free. We've also been told a bunch of history, which is great because history is interesting, BUT we have already learned everything that they've told us through our school where education is free, not $1200.
As of writing this, we have not yet gotten to the New York City part of the trip, but I am not looking forward to it. It was advertised that we would have some free time to walk around in the city, but no we aren't going to. We're going to have a SIX MILE WALKING TOUR. We're a bunch of band and choir kids and we aren't even going to a theatrical performance or a concert?
