One of the worst experiences of my life. Brought our 1 year old daughter with uncontrollable vomiting and dehydration. We are currently still sitting here 4+ hours after arrival with no sign of a doctor.

An hour in, I asked a nurse if she had an estimate on when a doc would be available to see our daughter, and she said we were behind 5 patients. I just asked her again (4 hours in) and we are now behind 2 patients.

This is a comical excuse for an emergency room, and unless you are coding or need CPR, you probably won’t be seen in any reasonable amount of time.

Go to White Plains or Greenwich if you can make it there

They gladly take your money by running unnecessary tests. After 4 hours and thousands of dollars, I was told to take tums. I continued to have cardiac issues the next day. The doctor doesn't care- if you're not actively dying, you're sent home and disregarded. I know my levels weren't good because if they were I wouldn't have symptoms. Paying customers deserve full disclosure and answers. If you're understaffed, hire. You're taking in enough money that being told "it's not an emergency" is dismissive and disgusting.

Great place in an emergency. Caring, efficient, and helpful staff. I believe this place is a level 2 trama center. Doctors keep you informed as they check you out. Imaging is available as needed. They did a MRI for me several years back.

Poor communication, really long wait times, doctor ran unnecessary X-rays and CT scans and didn't communicate why he was doing that at all. Nnurse was not very friendly and wasn't very helpful. They sent prescriptions to a random pharmacy without consulting with me.

I was hesitant to go to the Stamford Hospital ED due to the extremely low rating but had to on my PCP's recommendation. I was pleasantly surprised. The waiting time was minimal and the staff was very courteous. The only negative was that I wish I had been seen by a doctor at the time of discharge (after imaging), so all my questions could be answered.

First time visiting this ER and was sent to the pediatric area for our child. Everything went so smoothly and the staff was extremely attentive. Huge difference between this ER and Greenwich hospital, which we've only had bad experiences at.

Don’t get me wrong the way they take care of maternal and babies and kids in general is wonderful but as for adults they will leave you sitting in the ER for hours in pain until the doctor feels like walking in. Nurse say there nothing they can do while they sit in the front gossiping and laughing. The room my husband was in didn’t even have the trash taken out or clean sheets. It’s just disgusting how this is a ED and not one person care what is going on. Wouldn’t recommend for adults for pain.

This emergency room is complete trash. They will have you waiting for hours in the waiting room and even after you’ve been admitted to a room. They give unnecessary testing just to make more money. I was waiting almost 5 hours for them to give me even just an idea of what was wrong and even then they still wouldn’t tell me. They tried to keep me from going home to feed my NEWBORN who is exclusively breastfed. Don’t go here. They don’t care about you at all. Complete waste of time.
