Kevin was amazing and so hospitable our entire stay. I called prior to my stay expressing concern due to my large group (4 adults) sharing one room. Upon arrival, he was able to switch us to a room that made the most sense for our group. The room was massive with two queen beds, and a couch with a pull out cot that worked perfect for us! Everything was brand new and so nice. In the middle of everything as well. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

This is our new favorite hotel for trips up and down the 101! Hotel is brand new so everything is new and clean. Very welcoming service at the front desk. Breakfast was above average for SpringHill Suites. There are 22 electric car charging stations, yes 22! They're Tesla destination chargers, so bring an adapter if you have another EV.

Yes, they charge $15 to park. So factor that into the price.

Right next door is the amazing SLO Ranch Marketplace. Their grand opening is later this week, May 17, so even more shops and restaurants will open soon. Great food, coffee, ice cream, and places to hang out.

Hotel is clean and modern and rooms are comfortable. However, it is right under the flight path for the airport so it can be noisy. They charge $15 per night to park. Staff could be more attentive. Calls to front desk went unanswered. Hot water did not work in our room. Breakfast was not good. Ran out of scrambled eggs, oatmeal was gooey and overcooked. Overall not the quality of most Marriotts.

I stay at various Marriott properties throughout the Central Coast almost every week. Decided to try this newer hotel. I stay at the 'everyday' brands near the highway. When I arrived at this hotel, already bound by the cancellation policy, they informed me that they charge an additional $15 to park. It's just a parking lot. Driving is the only way to get there and there is no alternative parking. No other Marriott 'traveler' brand in the tri-county area does this slight of hand to my knowledge, which only really serves to make their published rate look lower when booking in the area. Rooms are new and clean. I received a response from the GM only indicating that 1) 'everyone does it' - which is not true, and 2) the added parking fee was indeed in their fine print, - which is true, but only served to prompt me to write this review. It's a classic junk fee 'gotcha.'

Awesome new hotel!! Beautiful hotel, spacious, modern, room was super comfortable, gym is huge!! Love the pool area and the SLO Ranch Farms and Marketplace right next door!! Lots of restaurants and things there. Hotel restaurant and bar was great too, had a couple of the flatbreads out by the fire pit in the evening. Staff was super friendly!!

Solid hotel. Clean new rooms, responsive maintenance staff and great location.
Complaints are minor: the doors near the side entry way slam shut, and only one side of the bed has accessible power plugs.

Calls to front desk not answered, reached out regarding a lost and found item. It was located but never shipped out to us like they said they would. Still haven’t heard back. Stayed here 3 weeks ago and keep getting the roundabout.

Overall, not a bad place, but the air conditioner doesn’t work and the pillows are horrible. If you bring a pillow and a fan, you can probably make this place work.
