I recently did a tour of National Glacier Park and it was an incredible experience. Our driver Wynn was one of the highlights of the trip. Besides getting us everywhere safely, he shared stories with us of his adventures. We saw so much wildlife including black bears, elk, deer, bison, and a grizzly! I know that's not guaranteed every tour and the scenery alone was worth it. The accommodations were comfortable with modern amenities whenever possible. (wifi is tough in some spots) Everything was absolutely seamless. I can't wait to tour with them again.

Recently I took a guided tour to the Mighty Five National Parks in Utah on October 7th, 202. I had a wonderful time meeting like-minded individuals and touring the spectacular parks, the views are breathtaking, and lodging and group meals are great. Our tour guide Michelle is a knowledgeable, helpful, and cheerful person who helped take pictures of the group. I strongly recommend this tour to my family and friends.

Visiting the National Parks of Colorado on a Southwest Adventure Tour was super! We take a Southwest Adventure Tour every year, and they are all wonderful. This time I even white-water rafted ... and enjoyed it! For this tour, every place our outstanding guide, Sarah, took us to, maybe it had been raining or foggy; we arrived and it was miraculously fine. We were really fortunate: with the lovely weather; with a knowledgeable, careful, caring and fun guide – who, incidentally, picked superlative restaurants and sandwich shops for our meals and picnics (e.g., the wonderful Blue Water Bakery in Grand Lake, CO); and with a friendly tour group. On our last tour day a foot of snow was forecast in the Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, but it turned out that the precipitation didn’t start up until after dark so we even got to climb to Adams Falls (in the clear, warm morning sun) and to see Longs Peak (from a blustery, clouded overlook near that 14,259-ft Peak around 2:30 p.m.) before heading on to Denver and our flights home the following day.

We decided to take the Magnificent Alaska tour to celebrate our 50th anniversary and we couldn't have received a more prefect gift! This adventure far surpassed even our highest expectations. The scenery, wildlife, and people were just incredible. In many ways, it was quite a spiritual experience. Even the weather cooperated...for the most part :). Daniel was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable, very kind and a lot of fun!

By the time we got home we were pretty much exhausted and would do it again in a heartbeat! We just need to rest a little first :).

My wife and I did the Grand Teton & Yellowstone Explorer Tour at the end of May 2024. Southwest Adventure Tours is a 10/10 - luxurious lodging, comfortable transportation, delicious meals, and an entertaining guide (Wynn Hall was amazing)! We wouldn’t change a thing about this tour! Great hikes and sightseeing across both national parks! We saw all the animals we were hoping for!

This trip was incredible but on the move always. Incredible sights everyday. We could have used some other food options some of the days. Only “bar” food available.
Our guide , Shybree, was awesome

I had an amazing time on the Utah Mighty Five tour from Las Vegas. Aaron, our local guide, was terrific! We were able to hike and experience highlights from each of Utah's national parks and a couple of state parks along the way. Accommodations were comfortable, and each day, our group was given options for the types of hikes we would like to do. One note: This tour is a hiking adventure, not just for sightseeing. To get the most out of it, pay attention to the fitness level recommendations in the tour descriptions. If anyone in your group is not up for a robust hike along the way, a purely sightseeing tour might be a better option.

Thank you to Cameron for an amazing experience on both the tours I went on in Salt Lake City. It was great hearing about the history and fun facts about local stops and recommendations on the driving tour. I loved the pace and thought it was a nice size for the group. I hope to be back one day and look forward to joining tours in the future.
