We used Southern Hospitality for decor and coordination for our wedding on 2/8/2025! Alicia coordinated for us and did an amazing job!!! Our wedding decor was everything we wanted and more. We have also used their services in the past for a birthday party, our proposal, now our wedding.💚🤍

I just rented this place for an event that I threw over the weekend. The event space was referred by a family member & owned by a family member. I had no idea this place was sooooo nice, especially since I live in Tallahassee Florida now & haven't lived in Dothan since I was a kid. If you have an event whether it's a wedding, Birthday party, baby shower, family reunion or social this is the place you want. Immaculate set up & it's already nicely decorated & it comes with chairs & tables, a kitchenette, a bar area & separate vip room with a VIP Couch. I absolutely loved the place & will be back!!!

First off as the other person stated the building is old as the ages and definitely not a good venue for a wedding. Being from out of town I was smoking on the side of the building well more than 10 feet of his rented establishment in the parking lot. The owner approached me in a sarcastic way asking if I am interested in the building or something. I just think there are more professional ways to approach someone if you don’t want someone in your parking lot to smoke which I didn’t see posted anywhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will make public on how the owner could have handled the situation. I feel this is a very show my authority business owner and honestly will point out how I have personally seen other people smoking and nothing said. Very sad in my opinion but this business won’t last very long with how unprofessional his comment was. Just approach me and say we don’t like smoking in the parking lot and to please move not am I interested in the building kinda funny you didn’t ask the other cars that. I can promise noone wants that building since you wanted to be a sarcastic owner. No one knows who you even are so you might want to learn how to communicate with people

I would like to respond to the response by the owner. First off he was not in FRONT of your building he was on the SIDE so how could we see the no smoking? 2) I didn’t realize you owned the parking lot guess you do though. 3) We sure don’t check Facebook about your business so how would someone know 4) Proper way is to let someone know in a professional manner not try to state he flicked it out like he was doing something suspicious in a PARKING (not your establishment) lot you don’t even own. He also NEVER stated in his review he was asked to leave the premises or the building. He stated in his review that your husband asked him sarcastically was he interested in the building which we definitely are not when my husband responded he asked could he help us. The whole point is approach someone and ask them not to smoke on the premises not are we interested in the building or something. You can respond back with inaccuracy of what he said but our car picked up the whole conversation. Point is there are ways to approach someone and get your point across not hey are you interested in the building or something . We look so suspicious I guess 👍🙄 since you stated he flicked it out quickly. He was on the phone and had been there I promise we don’t want anything from your establishment we were on the side of the building in the PARKING LOT not in front so state the truth please

This is a "multi purpose" room. With several smaller rooms along the outer walls.
We attended an intimate family wedding here. I am not sure this place is well suited for a wedding, but it worked out okay.
