James was attentive and accommodating during the last minute booking, he got a crew together and kept me informed all day on the weather.

We arrived at the pick up spot and it was a super cute grocery, drove out to the launch spot. He included my son, age 13, in filling the balloon with air and took our photo before we ascended. He narrated the trip with details about the geography, and the science of how the balloon works. He even let my son participate in adding gas to the balloon.

We watched a gorgeous sunset and sailed along Ike a feather on a breeze, and had the most delicate, upright landing. Hands down, one of the best experiences in my life and grateful to share it with my mom and son on his birthday.

Pilot was awesome!!! Love his sense of humor. Our flight was on time and organized. The crew worked hard and very polite. The trip was more than just going up and coming back down. The pilot took the time to explain things to us and take our photos. The morning trip was amazingly beautiful!!

We had never been on a hot air balloon ride (tried a few times but weather never cooperated) so when visiting the Santa Ynez valley we saw Sky's the Limit and booked a trip - and it was amazing. James and the crew were professional and put safety first the entire time. Once in the air, the views were spectacular (so green from the rain) and James provided narration about what we were seeing. The entire tour is highly recommended and just a fantastic way to experience the Santa Ynez region from a unique and unforgettable perspective.

It was incredible!!! Something I've wanted to do my whole life.
James has an amazing amount of technical knowledge and expertise and passion for ballooning!!! And he has a great sense of humor!
My wife and I loved every minute of it. The landing was so smooth - James's talent on full display!

We had a magical evening with James and STL, soaring with our family over the St Ynez Valley. I highly recommend the experience. It was fabulous, beautiful, safe, fun and gorgeous and the sun was setting over the Pacific.

First time fliers and we felt safe and enjoyed everything. We drove over 4 hours to get here and it was worth every secod of the trip!!! The flight and landing were peaceful and majestic. The pilot and crew were professional, knowledgeable and fun!! What a blast, it was so amazing were bringing our children with us next time!!!
