Great place to see hummingbirds and other birds. Great place to do all kinds of different hikes. The old cabin like building is wonderful to tour with lots of history of the area. I must see in the eagar Springerville area

What a great place to visit. Lots of great information available in the visitor center. Nice walking trails and plenty to see. Great place to view wildlife. Turkeys, Pronghorn, Elk and birds. The on location hosts, Donna and Randy were great. Some of the cleanest of not the cleanest restrooms at any state run location. Donna even invited us to pick apples. Donna's knowledge of the area was amazing. Can't wait to go back.

This place is one my top favorite hidden gems of arizona! the hosts Donna and Randy were incredible! the information Donna was able to tell us was absolutely amazing! the history of the site that is held within the museum there is incredible! so many extremely well preserved artifacts as well as many activities for the little ones! my kids loved being able to feel the fur of some of the animals and see their skulls as well as make some track prints! we didn't get to do the Rudd creek loop hike but plan on doing it on our next trip! cant wait to make it back up there and visit again! a huge thank you to Donna and Randy especially for the time the spent talking with us and sharing some experiences they've had up there!

This place is a wonderland for the bird and wildlife watcher!
Our party of four, included a 15 yr old and 3 adults over 50. The teenager was happy to be there, which is some accomplishment!
We watched many species of birds up by the house and three Bighorn Sheep, all males, in the nearby canyon. One could spend an entire day and never get bored.

What a great suggestion to check out by the volunteer at the Big Lake Visitors Center. Mike the Caretaker was great. The grounds are beautiful, the displays in the center are amazing. Make it a day and pack a picnic. Take in the short hikes and see the Pueblo. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place, well maintained and very clean visitors center. The hosts are outstanding, polite and very friendly and full of nollage, I would recommend SIPE for hiking, seeing the visitor center and Indian ruins.

Great little area managed by Arizona Wildlife and Fish department. Was at the hummingbird festival watching them band hummingbirds and other wildlife displays.

After a hummingbird was banded, it was placed in my wife's hand and let free! Boy are they fast...

If you're in the area this is a must see. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hikes are amazing the views breathtaking. This has to be one of my favorite spots here in the White Mountians of Arizona! If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up!
