My Fiancee and I have stayed here twice so far and we absolutely love it! I actually proposed to her in the restaurant attached to the B and B and it was amazing. The staff and crew at the Simsbury were so helpful, they even sent champaign up to the room while we were at dinner. They are friendly and the accommodations are very cozy. We are making the Simsbury House a yearly tradition and can't wait to go back.

Went here, I live in CT near the hotel but never knew it was here. Had a great view and dinner for our anniversary, and the hotel room was very historically charming. We thought it was very romantic and the staff was very nice. May check out their other hotels in the area

My partner and I spent a night here for a little getaway and it was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and accommodating as we had a room originally with a loud AC but they were able to switch us to a different room with ease. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was simple but nice. Appreciated that they had gluten free banana bread which was a nice touch.

A charming old hotel whose owners are working valiantly to make a great experience. Creatively excellent and varied continental breakfast, but the restaurant was not open while we were there. Our room was beautiful, with canopy four-poster bed, four windows with luxury drapes to match the wallpaper, and elegant furnishings like a love seat and upholstered side chair, but there is no latch on the outside door, and maintenance is needed on the exterior.

My daughter and I made a last minute decision to stay overnight in the area for her tournament. We secured the last room available here which was in the Carriage House. If I could give it a 10 out of 10 I would! Everyone who worked there was super friendly and went above and beyond even from when I called and made the reservation with Debbie. The bed was THE most comfortable that I’ve ever had in a hotel! The shower was also great. The continental breakfast was delicious with homemade breads and muffins. My daughter and I agreed that we were so happy that we stayed and would absolutely stay here again!

This was such a quaint historical house. Our room was spacious. It was easy to pull the curtains and make it very dark for sleeping. The bed was super comfy. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic and they have an excellent restaurant on site. So glad we stayed here.

I rated a 5 the service and staff are top notch. The front desk staff is so friendly, especially Sarah she’s awesome. My family was there for a 90s convention and I stayed in the main house on the 3rd floor. They recommended places for us to eat in simbury all recommendations were awesome, had a great meal at Abigail’s. |Cons: due house being built in 1800s they was no elevators so it was tiring to lug my suitcase to the 3rd floor. Bed mattress comfort was ok. ||Neutral: The aesthetics were older and antique looking that is good to some but if you want brand new things showers and huge tub you’d want to stay in hotel then.||Pros: area is nice for taking a walk around the premises, trails are around to see the creeks and bridges. They offer a not quite continental breakfast of bagels fresh baked breads, hard boiled eggs, coffee, hot cocoa, teas, juices and milk, yogurts, and fruits. ||Overall I would stay there again due to the service and good price
