What an incredible experience. We did the architectural tour and then the shoreline tour all in one day. The architecture tour was guided by Andrew who was extremely informative and shared many interesting tidbits about this amazing city skyline. It was a clear day so we had excellent views of Chicago. It's just another boat ride.
No music, no bells and whistles.
There is nothing for the kids to do other than cry and whine.
No souvenirs on board.
No ice cream, cotton candy, Italian, and sausage combos to eat while on the boat ride.
Hey, I'm a visitor, and I want to experience the taste and sounds of Frank Sinatra's kind of town, Chicago !! .
No, I don't want to hear the sounds of gunfire or police sirens.
Tour guide should try to engage the crowd. Heck, at these prices, it should be expected.
They don't take pictures of the people riding the boat with the Chicago skyline.
I'm pretty sure there are plenty of freelance photographers that could earn a living taking pictures of us enjoying the tour.

I recently had the pleasure of using the Shoreline Water Taxi service in Chicago, and it was a fantastic experience. The service offers convenient stops at key locations including Michigan Avenue, Navy Pier, the Museum Campus, and Willis Tower. The two-day pass was perfect for exploring the city, providing flexibility and ease of travel. The boats ran until 8 PM, giving us plenty of time to enjoy various attractions. Each stop was strategically located close to major landmarks, making it a great way to navigate Chicago's bustling downtown. Highly recommended for anyone looking to see the city from a unique perspective!

We had such a lovely experience on the 75-minute architectural boat tour! Our docent Antonio was incredibly knowledgeable as well as super funny and helpful. The boarding process was very organized and the boat was very friendly for our pup (pictured below).

I would 100% take the another boat tour with them again! Thank you so much for a great afternoon.

Very informative tour. It does get busy, so recommendation is to be there like 15-20 mins before the actual tour.

Highly recommend! First time in Chicago and absolutely LOVED this tour. We had the best tour guide named Antonio. He was passionate, hilarious and well spoken. We learned so much about the history of the city in 90 minutes. Couldn’t recommend enough!!!

Sadie was the best guide! Funny, cute and fun, she was the perfect blend for a tour guide. She even handled some less than supervised kid moments with grace while still being firm and putting safety first.

The tour itself had lovely views and tons of great info. Would 10/10 recommend.

Had a really great time on this tour. You learn so much about the history and the city itself. The facts he tells you are really intressting and not just some random boring facts. Beside the massiv amount of intressting information you get, you also get amazing view of the city and there are plenty of spots to take great pictures.
