My handicapped mother booked a $20,000 trip/cruise to Hawaii. 2 nights in Oahu w/o handicapped room booked or available. Which meant 2 days w/o shower or accessible toilet for her. Had to use public bathrooms on different floor. Next day had excursions booked. No ADA bus sent in time to make the Dole Plantation. (missed it) Cruise was nice. Had a 12 hr wait after ship
docked to sit with my one legged mother in Honolulu airport. Ridiculous.

We have been using Peggy for almost 30 years now.
She is the best. If you have any problems she is always there.
We emailed her on a Sunday because the airline was not telling us everything. She found us a representative to call, which we did get answers. if you have a question about a resort or airline she has the answers. She knows all the deals that are going on.
We just got back from Punta Cana and booked with her and saved us almost $2000 on the same trip that Fox World Travel had a radio station deal going. Thank You Peggy

I was a little skeptical of going through a Travel Agency to book a vacation because I was under the assumption that the prices would be crazy jacked up to make things profitable for the travel agency, and who can't plan a trip themselves...

Definitely not the case with Peggy and her company. I sent her an email on Monday night outlining what I was looking for and she had a whole plan already put together for me the next day, even after I made a couple changes she immediately responded to my requests.

I called her today to finalize everything and the price she quoted was actually less than expedia, and it was for an upgraded room with trip protection. She even emailed the hotel my wife and I are staying at to let them know this trip is for our 5 year anniversary to see if they could upgrade our room and make the trip extra special for us.

If you are planning a vacation or trip I highly recommend reaching out to Peggy and her crew, even if you're a pro at planning trips I'd still make the call and see what she can do for you.

Peggy and her team are awesome. The staff there is fun and friendly and they are full of industry knowledge. I saw the other reviews posted but as someone who has traveled to over 15 countries and 44 states I would not trust anyone else with handling my travel plans. I have also learned that there is no such thing as a perfect trip and I don't believe Shooting Star should be held responsible for things that are out of their control. We went to one resort with 5 star ratings and it was one of if not the most horrible experience ever but again it was not the travel agents fault it was the resort. Also flights are changed all the time from minutes to hours and tour companies make changes without telling the booking agent so I will end this with saying this. Shooting star travel is a reputable organization run by great people. If you can't handle the turbulence involved when traveling maybe you should stay at home.

I do not recommend Shooting Star Travel to anyone. I booked a very expensive European trip for my son and I through Peggy, the owner of shooting star travel. Peggy sold me a vacation complete with an itinerary. The itinerary was complete with the flight times and numbers. The problem we encountered on our first European flight was the itinerary had an incorrect flight departure time and the flight # was also incorrect.Hence, my son and I missed our flight to Nice and spent the day at the Madrid airport trying to get a flight to Nice, rather than on the beach at Nice. We had to purchase new tickets and did not get out until the evening. Peggy tried to blame Avanti, the agency she bought the itinerary from in Europe, for the incorrect departure time on the itinerary. At first Peggy said she would have Avanti compensate us, but, after over one month I knew that was not going to happen. Peggy refused to accept any responsibility for the incorrect information she sold us. I feel it was her responsibility to make sure all the information she sold us was correct. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TRAVEL AGENCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was a newly single woman planning a holiday trip on my very own for the first time in over 30 years. I called Emily at Shooting Star with no clue where to start. We discussed the issues I needed to solve...ride to the airport, reasonable airfare, and transportaton between airport gates due to recent surgery,
Within a few days, everything was arranged. Just to be sure, my brother double-checked the airfares and departure dates and said she had gotten me the best fares available.
My trip was a dream. Everything went smoothly, all arranged transportation to and from the airport, which was local, went off without a hitch. And my shuttle rides between gates as I made my way from one airport to the next was a real blessing. I didn't have to worry or stress about where to go and how to get there.
If you ever need help, old or young, healthy or not in top form, I would strongly recommend a call to this agency. Ask for Emily..she'll deliver all the services you need in the best way possible.

Teresa was an absolute gem to work with. She had to deal with the craziness of our busy family, a resort that could handle kids from a wide span of ages...and nailed it. Traveling with 7 to a different country can be scary - but with her advise and knowledge...it was a breeze! I would never have tried to book a trip like this through the internet...again, another reason why local businesses and face to face contact will always prevail. (They care!!)
