As a landstar driver we suppose to have drop and hook here.well this is my second load here,two Mondays in a row,got here 10am and my trailer didn't get loaded till 830 late evening. A whole 10 hr break. Which you lose one whole day. I think agent needs to do a better job discussing this when you book one of these loads.no detention either! It's 340 in afternoon now on this load now and nothing. Been here since 1030.dont let that _$ fool you!!! I live 170 miles from here!

Landstar Driver: Good experience with security guards! Checked in early, learned it’s FCFS, and I was 1st😊 in line early the next morning. This allowed me to eat and sleep, I’d already showered and had food on my tractor. The issue is Landstar orders trucks on the “day loads are planned”and requests drivers for the “day loads are planned”, BUT, the loads are really ready for the NEXT day. So it should definitely be explained to drivers to be prepared to take a 10 hour break because it depends on when you arrive and it’s definitely FCFS. It can take 12-24 hours. I arrived @ 12pm Sun, Out 5am Mon.
The shipping movement depends on inside operations and security will/can only update the driver when inside operations physically gives them paperwork for the completed load. Overall not a bad experience just a breakdown in communication between LS, and Operations which unfortunately has security caught in the middle with drivers pointing fingers at each other. I’d run the load when I have ALOT of TIME to spare….

1. Guards act like checking in with them has completely ruined their day.
2. Drop and hook load is supposed to be ready by 12 noon and available to pick up at any time before midnight. 8 hours of sitting waiting for load to get ready.
3. Avoid if possible.

Landstar driver avoid this place they say D&H but is Drop and who knows when your trailer be ready Arrive 5:00 pm is 4:00 am and they don’t even know when is go to be ready Broker always no saying the true.

I have to say this was one of the better places I’ve been to. Security guy was very polite & helpful. Explained everything well. I was late for my pick up and was still out within 2 hrs. Overnight parking on the road outside the fence. Still can’t understand why no pets or persons without CDL are permitted on the property.

Can't have a pet unless service animals. Broker doesn't mention that crucial piece of info. Not pet friendly here.

US-30 East into West Virginia.
Exit onto WV-2 South.
Bottom of ramp Turn Left onto WV-2
In approximately 4 miles, turn right onto "Quaker State Road"
The guard shack is down on the left. Park on the side of the road and walk to the shack. Be sure you know your tractor plate number.
They monitor CB Channel 16.

They load a lot of trucks which means there's a lot of product to move around inside the warehouse. So get here about 30 mins early for appointment, and expect to be here at least 2hrs. Not so bad a place.
