Incredible Snorkeling Experience – Ted and His Team Are the Best!

We recently went on the snorkeling tour with Shell Island Tours, and it was hands down one of the best parts of our trip! Ted, the owner, runs a top-notch operation—he’s friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience for every guest.

His team was just as amazing—knowledgeable, upbeat, and great with both first-timers and seasoned snorkelers. They made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe while keeping the mood light and fun.

The snorkeling itself was incredible—crystal clear water, tons of marine life, and plenty of time to explore. The boat was clean and well-equipped, and the whole trip was seamless from start to finish.

If you're anywhere near Panama City Beach, don’t miss the chance to do this tour. Ted and his crew will treat you like family and make sure you have an unforgettable day on the water.

Absolutely the best place for renting a pontoon and getting out on the water if you have a boat license and getting to beautiful beaches around shell island beach! And brought my fishing rods with me, it was the perfect time in the intercostal I needed!

Amazing time taking a boat around the bay. We were fortunate enough to see a whole pod of dolphins, maybe even two! It was heartwarming and even emotional to see those majestic animals, espywith the family.
Our guide, Captain Chad, went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and went to the area where there would like be dolphins. He also did everything he could to assuage any concerns about our first boat ride as a family. Ask for Chad, he was great!

On top of sales tax a given. These other fees are $20-$25. Then, they ask for another $20 minimum gratuity "Docking, washing, refueling, flushing Tip". A little absurd people at $100/hour. Convenience Fee and Serive Fee are charges you are tacking on. The credit card fee is excessive and you are profiting off that. Shameful business practices!

These folks were amazing. Friendly staff and very helpful. Amazing experience for the family. Only reason for the 4 star review was no Bluetooth radio as stated in the ad. Even with that it was well worth the money and so much fun.

If you don’t want your boats beached then provide an extra anchor. Not a fun experience when you’re told that you’ll have to go out in the lagoon to find your boat when now you don’t have one. Thank God for some kind people that took us out to look. It was 2 miles out sitting in the middle of the bay.
We’re not the ignorant ones here, provide what’s needed or it’ll happen again.
