I had a fantastic stay at Shawnee Forest Cabins! The cabins were well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, making for a great getaway. One of the best parts was the location—Garden of the Gods and other scenic trails were less than 10 minutes away, as was the beach, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area.

The cabin itself had excellent amenities, including a private hot tub, a firepit, and a grill, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. They even have a Tesla charger available if needed, which is a great bonus for EV travelers.

Overall, I highly recommend Shawnee Forest Cabins for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped stay in a beautiful location. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We are independent travelers. Shawnee Forest Cabins were great in their "no-contact" service! Everything was organized, intuitive, good instructions, good maps, good labeling on the property, and great electronic communication. We didn't have to talk to anyone. We just showed up, found our cabin,
followed the instructions, and began our relaxing weekend.

The cabins were newer and clean. They definitely gave a rustic feel with cushy amenities. We highly recommend staying at these cabins if you like a mix of rugged outdoors with some creature comforts.

Staying at Shawnee Forest Cabin #7 was an amazing experience which exceeded our expectation. We drove about 16 hours from Ontario, Canada just to see this place. Our cabin was nice and clean, quiet, well supplied with all we needed to enjoy our three days stay. Husband cooked on the charcoal grill and made a nice fire outside in the fire pit while I enjoyed the hot tub - every evening. Property is close to the Garden of the Gods which is definitely a place worth to see. We were even pleased to see that the surrounding area is a community of farmers, people seems to be religious, as we've seen many churches around, many hunters, almost no emigration (which in Canada started to be a big issue). Free people living a simple and very normal life. Compared to the big cities, we felt completely safe there. We would love to come back again.

We truly appreciated the charcoal grill and the fire pit--firewood included! The fire pit offered warmth not just for the body, but for the soul, fostering connections and lasting memories.

The cabin's amenities, along with its serene setting, made for a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat, a family adventure, or a solo detox from the world, this cabin checks all the boxes. Highly recommended for anyone craving a peaceful getaway.

Great location very near to Garden of Gods. Cabin was clean and we were provided all needed information in professional way. It has hot tub and that was great experience for all. Kitchen with utensils helps to get going before starting hike!

Was a wonderful place to spend a weekend away from it all. The one bedroom cabin was perfect for a couple. It was clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed for a relaxing weekend. Only negative was the overabundance of Asian lady bugs. Other than that slight annoyance, it was a great cabin and a wonderful weekend!

My family enjoyed the 2 bedroom cabin. The hot tub was very nice and the stars were beautiful in the night. The outpost and Bigfoot statue are in walkable distance and the Garden of God’s is 2 miles down the road. Great location. Don’t plan to sleep on the pull out couch for more than a night or maybe 2 it’s like sleeping on a pile of rocks, but that should be expected I guess.

Cabin is exactly as described. Very cozy and clean. The hot tub is set up nicely and quite private. Area is close to a lot of hiking options and we had a very relaxing mini vaca!
