Mike “Captain Segway” was an excellent teacher and kind, knowledgeable, caring tour guide. We had a fabulous experience - all of us essentially on Segways for the first time, and based on this experience would easily choose to do a Segway Tour anywhere we travel. Very family friendly and exhilarating, beautiful views of Chicago and nice attention to historical gems of the city. Highly recommend.

Mike is absolutely amazing, what a class act. As a Chicagoan I honestly didn’t know what to expect going in. But I learned SO much during our time together and saw some amazing sights + views that I’ve NEVER seen, even after being in the city for a year and a half.

Mike knows Chicago like the back of his hand and is an absolute expert tour guide. He knew unique facts about each of our stops that I’ve never heard anyplace else. He showed us all the classic Chicago sites and took us throughout the park district, museum campus, and more.

By the time you finish a quick 5-minute training with Mike, you’ll be riding a Segway like an expert. I came in a little nervous, not knowing what to expect. But all that anxiety melted away instantly when Mike trained us on riding the Segway. He makes it absolutely effortless.

If you’re visiting Chicago, I truly believe this is the single best attraction you can do to get to know the city. You’ll learn more in 2 hours than I’ve learned in almost two years. And you’ll get to experience the absolutely amazing Captain Segway himself to take you all through it.

I had an incredible time on the tour! Just like the other reviewers said, this is a wonderful way to see Chicago at a surprisingly good pace. Our guide, Mike
"Captain Segway", was knowledgeable and entertaining, making the tour informative and fun.

Gliding through the city on a Segway was such a unique and enjoyable way to see the sights. We covered so much ground in a short amount of time, and the Segway itself was surprisingly easy to learn (though getting in for the first time was a little spooky!)

The tour was well-organized and Mike prioritized safety and comfort, which made for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend the Segway Experience of Chicago to anyone looking for a fun and memorable way to explore the city!

Captain Segway all the way! Great tour guide with lots of knowledge and a great attitude! He took us on a cool trail that not many people know about so I liked seeing that hidden gem in chicago! We hit so many spots in just the 2 hours it was a great way to see A LOT. Make sure to confirm your time. We were given the wrong time from the site. Luckily it was so we arrived early instead of late! Very flexible with us arriving early and not having to wait another hour - thanks to captain segway! Make sure to bring water!

Had a blast I had never been on a Segway but they are very intuitive in 5 minutes I was zooming along with one hand free to video. The tour was great the guide knew her stuff was patient and went out of her way to show us the "Bean" a local sculpture made of highly relective stainless steel. She was funny and very personable and kept up with some on the tour who went astray a bit. Kind of like herding cats!

Captain Segway was the best. Turned out to be just my wife and I on the mid-week, mid-day tour. Mike did not cut anything short, still gave us a great tour and we had time to see so many sites. We highly recommend this tour. Captain Segway is an experienced guide and will have you rolling safely. Once you get the right guidance, these Segways are not too intimidating.

Fantastic tour with Mike, aka Captain Segway on beautiful Sunday morning. Great facts about the history of Chicago combined with a thrill moving fast through the sites and taking pictures on a way. Highly recommend, go for it.
