My husband and I are empty-nesters and have traveled extensively throughout our lives. In the past, we’ve booked about 80% of our travel on our own because we enjoyed the process and liked the freedom it gave us planning our own itinerary.

However, recently we asked Renae to plan several custom trips and we have loved the experiences. She has the resources to find quality, interesting excursions and beautiful accommodations that would take forever (if at all) for us to find on our own. Now, Renae knows our interests, budget and taste and we don’t spend endless hours on the internet. We are hooked and highly recommend Renae and SCOUTED Travel.

Renae has been nothing short of incredible to work with. As I'm sure is the case with most, you go one one or two vacations per year and therefore it's important to get your destination and accommodation right. Renae takes the time to understand what exactly you're looking for and what the perfect vacation looks like for you before making highly personal recommendations. My wife and I used to spend tens of hours figuring out where to go and planning our trip (again...life is short and vacations are limited so we find it worthwhile to ensure they're amazing). Renae has not only freed up those tens of hours of planning time by taking the planning off our plate but we also end up vacationing in way better places at better value than if we were to do the planning ourselves.

On our last trip, we booked a nonrefundable stay through Renae and our son unfortunately came down with strep throat the day before we were meant to leave. We had to cancel and thought we'd be on the hook for our entire trip costs but Renae, thanks to the strong relationship she'd clearly built with the hotel, was able to get us a FULL refund on our trip. We couldn't be more appreciative and no doubt will continue working with Renae for our future travel.
