Our two hour sail around York River on the Schooner Alliance in October, 2022 was excellent! Captains Laura and Tyler and crew member Christopher were all very welcoming and of course excellent sailors. Christopher delivered very entertaining and informative safety and history talks. Anyone who wanted to help hoist or lower the sails could participate. Everyone on our cruise enjoyed themselves and had a nice spot to sit. We highly recommend sailing with the Schooner Alliance team!

We sailed on Serenity the new to their fleet as of this week. We got the skinny from Cap’n Tyler- a real person-owner and partner in their venture. Making a living offering a great sail- 75’ steel hull Schooner rig. Lighter and more nimble than the previous Serenity. We helped raise sails and engaged with other passengers. So peaceful was the trip- not much wind but joked about the unknown clearance under the Geo. P. Colman bridge. Hands on deck were delightful gave an history lesson as well as take orders. Take this sail when in Yorktown, VA. Day sails 1-4pm are less crowded, evening sails 6-7pm expect 30+ on deck. No “refreshments” just yet but stay tuned. Good trip.

What a beautiful sunset sail we enjoyed! Despite the heat there was a cooler breeze on the water and we saw dolphins. The crew was awesome, keeping us laughing, and sharing interesting info about the area and the schooner. Highly recommend!!

We took the sunset sail on July 14th. It was absolutely perfect! We loved that the crew gave us the history of the area and that they had some of the passengers help raise the sails. We enjoyed this so much.

Beautiful sunset sail on the York River. Capt Eric and crew were amazing. You can purchase water and drinks onboard. Such a fun time!!!
