I definitely recommend visiting the Sarett Nature Center. In the first five minutes we were there, we met a beautiful rescue owl and its handler in the parking lot, which absolutely made my day.

Inside, there are many rescue animals, including turtles, lizards, snakes and owls. You can tell the staff put a lot of love and care into them. This part of the nature center would be great for children (or anyone, really) who like to learn about animals. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful.

There are also large windows where you can sit and watch bird feeders. Even though we visited in November, we still saw a large variety of birds. And if you visit during a migration period, you will surely see even more.

Finally, there were more than 5 miles of well maintained trails for hiking and walking. One of the highlights was a tall viewing platform that takes visitors high above the grounds. Overall, a wonderful place we can't wait to come back to.

Wonderful place. Staff is very nice and helpful.
Spent considerable time with our granddaughters (6 & 3) in the nature center and child's play platform. Hiked to the forested playground and played and had lunch. Hiked to the forest canopy overlook. Hiked to the pond and back along the river trail. Looking forward to hitting all the other trails.

An excellent center for the kids and family to explore. Nice and easy trails to traverse for most folks. Only reap complaint about the trails are the sturdiness of a number of wooden plank bridges. The nature center offers a good amount of knowledge about the area and wildlife that inhabits it. The gift shop has plenty of cool knick knacks to leave a lasting impression for many. I recommend this to those who just want a relaxing hike; a few steep areas here and there, but nothing too crazy.

It is only $3.00 per adult to enter. The experience is definitely under priced as you can clearly see how well taken care of the place truly is. The staff are EXTREMELY friendly and caring. The paths are well kept. The animals were very happy! The gift shop is also extremely affordable and fairly priced! Our family and friends had such a great time. The experience was FAR better than we imagined!

Absolutely fantastic! I will be back because I did not have time to walk all of the trails but the women at the front kindly recommended the most beautiful.

Proud member of Sarett Nature Center! Why spend $50 a month on a gym membership a month when you can use it on a family membership at Sarett? Get those steps in with some fresh "tree air". Always something for any age to do. Need more Geocaches!

Beautiful place to spend time with your family in the outdoors. There is an awesome playground in the forest that my kids really enjoyed! Also a creative obstacle course for older kids! Nice trails and breathtaking hikes on the boardwalk that connect you with nature. Awesome sky bridge with nice views. The nature center is clean, educational and has friendly staff. Highly recommend!
