If you’re looking for an authentic, family-owned restaurant serving incredible Lao and Thai cuisine, this little spot in Plaza, New Hampshire, is a must-visit. It’s a small and personal space—not a place for large parties or a bustling bar scene—but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in quality and charm.

The food is nothing short of outstanding—some of the most authentic Lao and Thai dishes I’ve ever had. Every bite was a testament to their dedication to traditional flavors and high-quality ingredients.

What sets this restaurant apart, though, is the exceptional service. The family that owns and operates the place goes above and beyond to make every diner feel special. Their attention to detail, personal touches, and genuine hospitality—stopping by every table to ensure everything is perfect—create an unforgettable dining experience.

If you’re craving authentic, no-frills Lao and Thai food in a cozy, family-run setting, this restaurant is the place to go. It has quickly become my favorite spot for this type of cuisine. Highly recommend it!

Really excellent food! Very fresh and feels very authentic. Hosts are super friendly. Each dish made individually and came out one at a time. Just share and it doesn’t matter! The addition of Laotian food is refreshing.

This place was amazing. The workers were all very attentive and wanted to make sure we were enjoying everything. The food was incredible and she even gave us a Lao dessert called woon that was made with super fresh coconut and tasted incredible. It was an amazing pallet cleanser sweet but not sticky sweet. Delicious. You need to go here if you want authentic Thai and Lao flavors.

No complaints about food. It seems authentic and it was delicious. The workers were really nice, but there was this chaotic energy when we dined. One of the staff sat us without handing us the menu, took awhile to come around to take our order and when we asked for water, they gave us bottles of water and charged us for them and forgot the rice with one of our orders.

My wife and I just got back from eating here for the first time. It won't be our last. It's our new favorite restaurant! I got the Beef Pho, and my wife got the Pad See Ew. Both were delicious beyond description. And huge proportions, all reasonably priced. You will get two meals out of the entrees, for sure!

The owner, Mama Lao, took the time to explain to us her philosophy of being kind to everyone while serving only the most authentic Lao and Thai dishes. She said it was her goal to duplicate the experience of eating in a restaurant in Laos or Thailand itself. So, you won't see the types of decorations and colors (Buddhas, yellows and reds) you might see at similar restaurants in the US, because you would not see that in Laos or Thailand. She also says she does not compromise on ingredients, even if they are not readily available in the US, and substitutes would be cheaper. Mama Lao clearly has a big heart and cares about her customers and the experience she is delivering.

I'm already dreaming of my next visit. I only wish they had a frequent diners club, because we will surely be that!

I’ve been coming to this Lao restaurant for a while now, and it never disappoints. The food is absolutely incredible—every dish is bursting with authentic flavors. The balance of spice, herbs, and fresh ingredients really sets it apart. My favorites are for appetizers.. *Crispy Chicken Skin* & *Lao Sausage* and for entrée *Larb Pork* & *Pho Beef Lao style*—they’re packed with taste and texture.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The decor feels traditional but modern, and the staff always makes you feel welcome and at home. Whether you're dining in or taking out, the experience is consistently excellent. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to try a authentic Lao Restaurant!

Really great food. So far I've had the pad sa eww, red curry with tofu, crab Rangoon, and tried the beef pad Thai. Everything has been delicious. The crab Rangoon has shredded carrot in it that lends to the sweetness of each bite. The Thai iced tea is sweetened with palm sugar, which gives it a unique and great flavor. Both dine in and takeout come with generous servings. The pictures are after we ate our fill of lunch, with at least one meal's worth leftover. The people are wonderful too. I wish the kids ate Thai, so we could eat here more often!

Great service and awesome authentic food ! I’m from Cambodia and our food are very similar and tasting was spot on for us !!! Price and proportions are great! We’ve been looking for an authentic place since we moved up north, and now we have it , 10 mins from home . The owner was very friendly and chef checked in with us as well !! I will be recommending this place to all my friends , our first and will not be our last !
