On December 19th 2024, on platform 1, I was assaulted by a person with my own umbrella. I didn't want to attack him because he looked like me.

BART had done a great job over years on improving the station. Still more work to be done but moving in the right direction.

What kind of people do u hire there staff is very rude and for no reason I'm a everyday paying customer and when I asked to use the bathroom she talked to me like I'm a child and the man next to her kept telling me to leave. When I went to take their picture (which I have the right to) the man came at me like he was gonna hit me or take my phone I'm tired of being picked on by the rude staff these people need to be fired.

Every day I come here it smells like marijuana. They donโ€™t enforce no rules about smoking, marijuana or smoking cigarettes on his platform. Iโ€™m getting tired of paying bart This is ridiculous. Iโ€™m always on this platform. This smells like marijuana and cigarettes and people are smoking out here. Kinda stupid and retarded So they shouldnโ€™t enforce it and To have someone do something about the situation because itโ€™s getting out of hand

BART is very clean, the trains are good and there is not a long waiting time for you to be able to get on a train. Parking space is not a problem. There is plenty of parking spaces. I really like their service. The only thing is that you NEED a clipper card to use bart, even if its only once or twice a month. There are no more paper tickets.

This station skirts the line in terms of safety and nice upkeep in the BART system. Consider that my car was broken into in this station and the agent was not able to offer much in the way of help finding the people responsible. I also witnessed a fight on the landing platform near the track that was not broken up for nearly 20 minutes.

I've now been to the San Leandro BART station twice.

Yesterday I made a turn-around here after my apparent inability to pay attention on BART lead in the opposite direction I needed to be (Walnut Creek). I exited the train, ran down one set of stairs and up another on the other side to wait for the northbound train. The platform here was clean and since all the concrete benches had other passengers waiting on them, I took a seat on the ground. The weather was nice and aside from a couple that was arguing loudly not far away, it was quiet around me; very relaxing.

Much more relaxing than my first trip to SL BART. I was meeting my husband and his co-worker there before getting a ride to the airport. While waiting for their car, I had people ask if I wanted to give them my change, (which I did not), and if I wanted to buy a Costco-sized bottle of Vodka, (which I did). Unfortunately, we had no plans to check our bags, and a gallon of vodka is unacceptable to carry-on, so I had to pass on this deal. The man shouted at me that he had smaller bottles too, but my ride was pulling up at that time. If I had seem my entrepreneur friend yesterday, perhaps I would have taken him up on one of the smaller bottles!
