this place was the best!! we made a super last minute decision to come and we were not disappointed, super nice over the phone and got us in within the hour!! Justin was the BEST!! super down to earth guy and focused on us enjoying as much we could!! he brought us to see dolphins, we had a blast scuba diving for sea shells and sand dollars and he found us some to keep as well!! we even had the opportunity to see a HAMMERHEAD!! 10/10 experience this was the absolute best part of our trip!! book with them!!

Can not brag enough about this group! We called very last minute and they were more than happy to take us in on one of their last tours of the day! If you’ve got the time you HAVE to book with them! We’ve done bragged to half of KY about their business! Ask for Hunter! He was the best captain and made sure to make one of my family member’s first time on the ocean unforgettable! He went out of us way to make sure we got to see jaw dropping views of the dolphins while in the sunset. He also helped us see some awesome finds while snorkeling..Long story short! BOOK NOW!!! Our trip was awesome! We saw lots of dolphins and could get in the water with them. The Captain and his first mate Let us choose which option we wanted at any given time. Besides dolphins, we saw sea turtles swimming, and got to search for shells, starfish, etc. from the Gulf floor. We all enjoyed our excursion immensely and I would highly recommend Salty Fins for your experience. They have a smaller boat and do personalized tours. So glad we chose that option instead of going on one of those big boats with tons of people. We never would’ve had the great experience we did.

From the moment we stepped on the boat, we knew we were in for something special. The tour was not only incredibly scenic—complete with dolphins playfully swimming alongside us and vibrant reefs teeming with marine life—but the atmosphere was just as amazing as the ocean itself.

What really made the trip unforgettable was Captain Hunter!! hands down the most hilarious, charismatic, and knowledgeable captain we’ve ever met. He had all of us laughing the entire time while still delivering top-notch info about the wildlife and area. His energy was contagious, and you could tell he genuinely loves what he does.

The snorkeling spots were breathtaking, the dolphins were mesmerizing, and the whole experience was perfectly paced and beautifully organized. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, solo traveler or with a group, this is one adventure you don’t want to miss.

It was an awesome experience! Justin and Thomas did a great job. I called to book our private tour and customer service was excellent. I suggest calling to work out details. Our son is on crutches and we wanted to make sure that would all be ok. He did fine and they were very accommodating.

We saw a bunch of dolphins (5/15/2025), snorkeled, and saw a sea turtle. It was too choppy for us to jump in with the dolphins, but the whole tour was so fun. We’d definitely recommend this and hope to go again one day.

The owner met us at the dock when we got back. She was really nice.

It’s a bit tricky to know what to do when you get there. Just make sure you know where to go when you arrive.

We did a 4 hour tour with Captain Justin and it was exactly what we had hoped it would be. He provided recommendations based on our preferences. We got to go snorkeling, saw and swam with lots of dolphins, spent an hour exploring Shell Island, and then ended the day with a beautiful sunset! Would definitely recommend for a carefree and enjoyable day at sea!

This company is absolutely extraordinary. Me and my husband have been doing dolphin charters in PCB for over 15 years and these guys will be getting 100% of our loyalty and business here on out. Our original company cannot accommodate only two passengers without us paying for a private boat. We flew in and had non stop harsh weather conditions and double red flag beach days. We went on two different tours with some and no success swimming with the dolphin leaving us wanting. Making a desperate attempt for one more go before our flight out found us with Salty Fins. Bryce made some calls and was able to book us with another passenger a the perfect time slot for us. Clear communication, Best Captain ever (Justin) , flexibility to tailor the trip to our preference, super easy to find location and a very short trip to shell island made this trip one to truly remember. Captain Justin got us out and finding dolphins really quickly, he knew exactly what he was doing. We found sea turtles, star fish and lots of fish even though water visibility was a tad suboptimal. Most notable "take your breath away moment" of this trip was getting the chance to swim and see a mom and calf swimming underwater up close and them turning back around to take a second pass and look at us. Unforgettable 15th anniversary trip for us. Go with these guys. You won't forget it!
