I'm not sure why the other review states that Salter's supposedly sucks. However, I can state we have had nothing but positive experiences with them! My son has autism and rides a van to elementary school. His driver is EXTREMELY patient and was along with his teacher was helpful in transitioning him to his new school. The people in the office were very professional and courteous as well.

I was driving down 91 north in Hartford when bus number 77 entered from a left side entrance. The driver proceeded to cross the painted median and three lanes of traffic with no blinker, almost sideswiping the large box truck i was driving. Had to lock my breaks to avoid impact. HE HAD KIDS ON THE BUS! Those kids were seated in the back of the bus, which is where he would have hit me if I was unable to avoid it. I URGE ALL PARENTS TO KEEP YOUR KIDS OFF OF THIS COMPANIES BUSES. I fear for the safety of any children unlucky enough to have to ride with this driver (and possibly others, this is not the first time I've seen someone from this company risk children lives... but it is the most severe. I urge all parents with kids in this school district to inquire about the driver of #77.... your child could have been on this bus.
Also would like to add that I called the number on the back of the bus (this companies phone number) and the phone rang for a long while before it either dumped the call do to no answering machine/service or someone hung up on me. Not really sure which one happened, but it begs me to ask: if you have a number, but no means to answer it, how accountable are you as a company?
