Been staying here every other year. The new owners upgraded the furniture and also have added an in the window air conditioner in addition to the central air which really helps cool the upper room.

The view was absolutely breathtaking! To me rustic implies bare bones and "rough" camping. This cabin was absolutely beautiful and had everything anyone would need and then some. We stayed on a chilly night and had no problem at all staying warm. The only downside was that we could only stay one night. I told my family and quite a few are going to look in to booking their own stay. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing stay! Very cozy, a great way to spend a romantic getaway. Very clean, had enough kitchen tools to cook a simple dinner. Central heating worked well. Get Cabin 2 or 3, they apparently have the best views, and don't forget to spend some time enjoying the sunset. The only thing I didn't like was the futon, I just personally hate futons and would have preferred a pull-out couch, but that's such a minor preference that shouldn't affect the rating

Cozy place to have a weekend getaway.
Cabins were rustic and comfortable. A number of trails nearby in the Mississippi Palisades The State Park. The hosts, Nancy and Matt, were kind and responsive.
Only issue was that it tended to be loud at night from trains passing by with loud horns as well as some animal sounds, but this could be avoided with a good pair of earplugs!

This place is amazing!! Found and booked it through airbnb with a slight apprehension but turned out awesome! Cozy, Rustic and gives the authentic experience of living in a cabin! Not so far from Savanna downtown, yet quite separate from the main road traffic. A perfect place for a weekend getaway!

Clean, beautiful, pet-friendly cabins! We plan on going back as soon as we can. We loved hiking at the Mississippi Palisades- it was a convenient 5 minute drive away. The hosts also had lots of other great recommendations of things to do in the area, so we will definitely be going back.

Perfect, cosy, and very clean. We stayed a night for our wedding anniversary. Walking distance to town and next to the Vets memorial. We had cabin 3 and the views were spectacular. Definitely coming back here. Very reasonable in price. They have two grills and a fire pit. Bring wood, charcoal and lighter fluid. They have the cabin stocked for kitchen, bathroom. Cabin 2 also has a great view of the Mississippi. Loft sleeps up to 4 people and the main floor has a futon. Microwave, small fridge and stove. Beds were very comfortable. Nancy the owner is also very nice. Hope this helps.

Nestled in a wooded Grove just off the Mississippi River. Just a few miles south of the Palisades State Park. The cabins boast a modest kitchen, modern bathroom, couch, and even cable television. Easily a home away from home. Pet friendly. We brought our cat. Our cabin had 2 queen beds in the loft and the couch pulled out into a bed as well. Perfectly comfortable for up to 6 people. Other amenities:
