I appreciate this stop in Lenwood. It has 5 L3 chargers and 1 which is equipped for trailer space too. The chargers are lables at 350kw, but as of jan 1 2025, only support Rivian Vehicles, and go up to 198kw in my experience in a Gen 1 R1T. (Sorry tesla friends). You can see on the rivian app this location has an A rating and and average charge speed of 190kw which is true, so I would like to see the chargers renamed to say 200kw max not 350kw, as that is false advertisement. The price is 0.38$ prer kwh, but varies based on site.

With that said Rivian needs to contract one of the local businesses to clean the trash cans. I've visited here countless times and seen trash spilled everywhere with cans overflowing. It goes against the belief of exploring the environment, if you cannot manage trash well for the people charging here.

Right off the 15, and just 1 exit south if your coming to/from Bakersfield and going to the west/east.
There are lots of food options within walking distance with Starbucks and Jersey mikes within 200ft.
There are outlet stores about 10 min walk away.
There are 5 stations and 1 trailer station for a total of 6 usable stations.
Unfortunately the day we went, there were heavy rain storms and the power went out in the whole shopping complexe including the charger, so we didn’t get a full charge.
Price was $.36/kWh to charge and $.50/min for idle.

Great location to grab in n out, jersey mikes, starbucks and many other fast food spots. Fast and convient charge right off the freeway. Great job Rivian!

Came at 2pm on 1/1. Quite empty and ready for Rivian vehicles.

A Tesla Model Y with an adapter tried with the charging station but didn't work though.

Tight parking and gross overflowing garbage cans everywhere. But the chargers work and there is food and coffee closeby

Drove right up, plugged in and started charging quickly. Peak rate of 175 kW (started at 60%). Steep drop off at 80% to 50 kW. Convenient and easy to use, amenities nearby, AND one of the charging stations allows for pull through charging while towing. Will stop again.

Awesome. One time arrived but some stations were out of service but the Rivian maintenance person was already there actively working on it.
