Downtown River Walk is great to walk after a meal or to take a morning/evening stroll. There are handfuls of places to eat and/or to have drinks. Just being able to people watch and listen to the Truckee River rush by is literally priceless. It costs absolutely nothing to do this!

Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful! Beautiful views of some old churches, the river, art, & more. There are not a lot of shops or places open but it is still a must see. We also saw some great live musicians and artists. I highly recommend if you like walking or exploring!

Of all the places I went in Reno this was my favorite!! Took a stroll with my daughter, went to some shops, had a nice lunch sitting outdoors next to the river. There's a cute park on one end. Beautiful sculptures, fountains & trees line the river. Nice weather, colorful fall foliage, & the sound of the river. A perfect day!

The main sign says it all - the biggest little city in the world! Downtown is easy to get around on foot and signs directing you to the near by attractions are abundant. The highlight is the Riverwalk that can be seen in an hour or too. The main attraction in the Reno area is Lake Tahoe of course.

Great place to walk around and get something to eat and/or see a movie. The Truckee River runs down the middle of the River Walk. I parked on a side street and fed the meter. Not sure if there is an official parking lot, but parking was not an issue. Took lots of pictures and ate at the “The Wild River Grill” restaurant. At this point of the River Walk, you are on the same street as the Famous Reno sign “The Biggest Little City in the World”.  You can walk up that street to see the sign or enter one of several casinos. A must see if you are in Reno.

The areas meandering through the river are nice. When warm you can dip your feet or swim if you can find a spot without a strong current. Nice river sanctuary in the center of the city. Lots of restaurants locally as well.

Get away from the depressing casino Street in Reno and join awesomeness at the Riverwalk. Nice paved walk on both sides of the river. Restaurants that even a movie theater. A few characters here and there, but most seem harmless.
