Crazy its only rated as a 2 star hotel, flew in from Vegas, arrived 11:45pm, was still able to order some really good food for the room. This place is really accommodating given its locale. Well done!!

If you are flying in from out of town, take a 30 minute trip NW of Springfield, and stay here, you will not be disappointed...

Its really well managed, zero friction checking in, ideal for a cross country interstitial retreat.

RiverBank Lodge is the best relaxing place to stay around Springfield. The employees are all so nice and accommodating.... We have been coming down for 4 years now.
The bar there has the best pizza and wings around!! I just wish I had ordered more to bring home with me...

So think small town and it's really a 5 star place! The rooms aren't fancy but very clean and the staff and service is second to none! They have all the basics covered. And the restaurant is wonderful. The pizza truly rivals Chicago places! And you know it's a great place when the staff from the restaurant down the road where you had lunch is there eating that night! ( Hi Brenda!). And Maggie, one of the managers, is simply one of the finest people you'll meet in this world. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Do bring your favorite pillow and perhaps a space heater if you come in winter. Loved everyone I met in this town!!

We just moved to Petersburg a few months ago. My son picked up pizza for dinner tonight. The chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and Taco pizza are very delicious. We will be returning customers.

The rustic lodge look and decor was authentic. The evening lounge was very inviting. And the morning continental breakfast bar was great - lots of variety! Staff was friendly and incredibly accommodating. Our room was quite comfortable for us. Would have chosen a larger one but we waited too long to reserve. Would highly recommend this lodge!

Lovely well-maintained hotel, easy to find and with ample parking. Great location on the edge of town, but just a short walk to the historic Petersburg town centre square.||The hotel is styled on a rustic hunting lodge. Our room (101) was superbly equipped (very comfortable twin queen beds) and spotlessly clean. Check in was very efficient, and all of the staff were real friendly. ||There is a dining area and bar behind the reception, and we had pizza there in the evening with some friends who came to join us (this area is open to the public). The pizzas are gorgeous - well cooked, tasty and with a super crispy thin crust. Reasonably priced too. There is a very impressive range of beers, including local brews. Same location for beakfast the next morning; my only criticism is that this was rather sparse - I would have liked some cooked eggs and maybe some ham, but that is just my preference. ||Overall, superb and highly recommended. We will be back.

This was an outstanding getaway town and a perfect inn to stay at. The room was an economy so it was small but perfect to crash in. Comfortable and cozy. And a great view of the River. Also, wonderfully helpful staff, from the afternoon check in clerk to the after hours bartender to the check out girl. Friendly and accommodating. The lodge itself is a destination. We can’t wait to visit again!

So clean and I love that the room was updated. Staff was super friendly. I could smell food when I checked in so I sat in the bar area and ordered a cheese pizza and a local Hands of Fate Vanilla Dream Ale. One of the best small brews I have had in a long time. I will be back!
