Was very fun experience with river journey we were seven in the boat and six of us were rafting. It is pretty easy. The river is 7 miles long so it takes 4 to 5 hours. We did not take any food or beverages with us and I will not do that again. It is a good idea to take some snacks inside an ice box. We did not swim because the water was very cold but overall it is a great experience!!

This is the best rafting company. The equipment is all in great condition and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you are at all nervous about rafting or just want to have a worry free trip, I highly recommend their guides. They are experienced and know the river well. This will allow you to relax and have fun and they will ensure your safety on the river. I took a large group as a team building and everyone loved it. It’s a great activity!

We had such a great time here! We had LOTS of kids with us (9) and the staff was excellent and patient as he explained water safety. Just adventurous enough to give the little ones a thrill without being too scary. Beautiful scenery too! We will definitely be back!

I haven't actually used these guys but I can say that they're 100 percent professional and we're lucky to have them on the river with us. I'm a local and go my own route but they position safety teams along the route and when my daughter was ahead of me and out of sight when she wiped out, one of their crew was there to toss her a line and help her with getting back to us and did an amazing job keeping her safe and calm, and for that I'm eternally grateful.

Had a great time from beginning to end. The check-in ran smoothly and the employees were nice. Very affordable. Make sure to bring sunscreen! Would definitely recommend River Journey and look forward to going again.

This place does NOT give good customer service. I use their services three times, and I thought maybe it was just that person or maybe it is a bad day for them or whatever... but every time I went the service was bad and it only got worst. the driver is a jerk he speeds and has no consideration or courtesy when speaking to people, he even threaten to leave the group at the river because someone made him upset, he took a very long time to come back. but I wasn't just the bus driver it was also the women at the booth and the guys picking up the rafts at the end. will NEVER go back. Good Luck to the ones that do.

River Journey is absolutely the BEST choice for summer fun on the Stanislaus River! My family and I have rented rafts and kayaks from RJ before and have always had an amazing experience, from the very professional and warm customer service, to the high quality rafts and equipment. I really love that they have a photographer along the Russian Rapids to capture your loved ones crazy faces as you barrel down the rapids!! Nothing but good memories are made on their river rafting adventures.

Absolutely atrocious. It took us 5 hours in the flat current. No movement. I swear this was the worst money every spent. I would never do it again. I only did half the trip and it was the most MISERABLE experience. DON’T COME TO THIS PLACE. DON’T BELIEVE THIS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.
