Ron kindly agreed to a whole day of 1x1 guided exploration of class 4 roads in central VT. It was an AMAZING experience! He thoughtfully prepared a really fun route of less technical forest roads (greens and blues). We met up early to deflate our tires, discuss best practices and gear, and begin our journey. He thoughtfully explained overlanding etiquette, private property considerations, and road access laws. We explored some really beautiful country and my understanding of what my Tacoma can handle increased dramatically. I wholeheartedly recommend Ridgeback Guide Service.

A guaranteed awesome day out!! I've now done five of these days trail drives in VT and NH and I feel like each one just gets better! I started with a reasonably stock vehicle and navigated the trails without much stress. Ron is great at knowing the capabilities of the vehicles on the drives an adjusts for them as needed. As I've built the vehicle up a little more I've been able to deal with the trails a little easier. Looking forward to pushing it a little more next year and maybe get out on a few more than this year. Ron is the man for this though, he knows which trails you can and can't drive and does a lot of work to maintain not only the trails but also local connection that allow he to access sections otherwise not open. Ron with RGS does an amazing job of thoroughly planning his trips to assure that they run without any issues. You can tell the amount of pre planning that goes into these rides by how seamlessly everything falls into place. Ron has an immense amount of knowledge that he is willing to share to get even a novice driver through the tough stuff. It’s a great feeling to be able to sit-back and just enjoy the trip without having to worry about the details. Ron is passionate about what he does and it shows. Had an awesome time with Ron and Bethany from RGS for the blue/green trail weekend in New Hampshire. Terrific terrain, outstanding coaching and guidance throughout both days, and great comraderie for everyone involved.

Both days were well organized and paced. Communication on-trail is excellent and informative, and not without a good deal of laughter.
