Since moving to Palmer in 2020, hiking to the top of Lazy Mountain has been a goal. Kierre and Revel made that happen by taking a survey of her different groups to see what the interest might be.
We had perfect weather (not sure how Kierre arranged it, ?)and a fun group of new and familiar faces.
Trekking with Revel is always fun, the outings are well planned with hiker safety a priority.

How lucky is Palmer to have this woman, her business and her guides as part of our and the greater Alaska outdoor community?

We really didn’t know what to expect with this tour but we were so pleasantly surprised. Kierre communicated well what we could expect for the day but also asked us a lot of questions on how she could meet our expectations. We did this hiking tour on our second full day and we are so glad that we did. We were able to take the information/education she had given us and apply it to our entire trip. We also appreciated and took all her recommendations on other things to see as well as where to eat some of our meals. Alaska is so fortunate to have Kierre. She was a wealth of knowledge and true steward to this land.

My son and I recently took a salve making class with Ute and it was fantastic. She, and all the guides at Revel, do this work…introducing people to nature and guiding them to places that they otherwise may never have explored…because they love the outdoors! They have such a wealth of knowledge between them that taking all the classes, and likely taking them over again the following season, is well worth your while. Ute has written the book on foraging…literally.

Kierre has a unique approach in that she is trying to build community as she builds a career that allows her to match passion and purpose. She works with other local businesses and she offers discounts to get all ages and genders outside!

She and the others are all well trained, experienced adventurers (they have some tall peaks under their belts, and they volunteer with outfits like the Eagle River Nature Center and rescue teams in their off time). They will put your enjoyment and safety first. I’ve been on likely a dozen outings with Kierre, she is a great motivator and a kind human…who happens to be able to pick some random weed looking plant and get you to eat it. She will slow you down if she thinks you are pushing too hard and she won’t let up if she thinks you are not.

I’ll be hiking with Revel this summer. You should too!

Emily is friendly, experienced and thoughtful in her approach to guiding in the great outdoors. As a cancer and stroke survivor, I have physical limitations but she was a gem. She explained the gear, the landscape, the terrain and my options. It has been said that if you can walk, you can snowshoe and I must agree. If you want to beat the winter blues, get outside and book an adventure with Revel. They provided everything and even included a warm drink selection after our evening outing.

Our trip with Kierre was great. She was the perfect guide for us. She gave the right amount of information about the Alaskan surroundings without talking too much.
The Seward bay was absolutely stunning. The comfort of the boat and the view were amazing. We even had the rare privilege to see a humpback whale breech. The captain took time to let us get closer to the whale, starfish, and sea lions.
The local restaurant was good. The view was priceless and the mounts of local animals were impressive!

Hike and Brew for the win! Revel is a high quality experience and I HIGHLY recommend them for adventure tours. Kierre took us out on a gorgeous, albeit strenuous, hike around Lazy Mountain and Lazy Moose trails. This was a true Alaska mountain climb experience with a beautiful, nature filled meander back down. Kierre's knowledge of the local geography, history, flora, and fauna are exceptional. Her personality is engaging and her passion for the outdoors truly made this experience wonderful. My wife and I had hiked Alaska before, but our guests had not. They still speak of this experience as "once in a lifetime" and nothing like they had ever imagined.

After the hike, Kierre took us to a few local breweries for some WELL deserved libations and local food, my favorite being the Bleeding Heart Brewery.

This was my 2nd trip to Alaska and will not be my last. If you are looking for a truly exceptional hiking or adventure experience, you need book with Revel Treks and Tours.

Kierre put together an amazing ONCE IN A LIFETIME adventure for me and my daughter! It was VERY organized, and she went to great lengths to communicate prior to find out exactly what I was looking for…and she made it happen! She was very flexible, and took into account our time schedule, the weather, our abilities and my dream adventure! She met and exceeded every expectation, and I couldn’t be happier w/ the wonderful memories we made. If you are hesitant about the cost, please know that it is worth every penny to have Kierre help navigate the area and the logistics to keep you safe in this beautiful state of Alaska!!! She is a GREAT resource!

I reached out to Revel prior to heading to Alaska to stay with friends. I am so happy I did! The high expectations I had were blown out of the water and they were a huge part of that. I got to hike Matanuska Peak and they happily arranged a last minute hike for me to Reed Lakes. Kierre and Emily were so amazing! I am so happy I got to see such special parts of Alaska and I learned so much. I can not recommend them enough and will for sure reach out to them again.
