My son and I had an outstanding fly fishing experience with Reelfly recently. Our guide was knowledgeable, interesting, and great at teaching us the fundamentals of fly fishing. My son landed a couple of trout and we both were brought up to speed on this technical sport. The raft was a good size and comfortable. They have all the gear for you to use to keep you dry and fishing like a pro. You could easily spend $1k-1.5k getting professionally outfitted to fly fish. The guided tour is well worth the money to determine if you even like the sport before you sink in tones of money. The service and communication with the office and our guide from start to finish was phenomenal. They made us feel like a valued customer. Kudos to the owner and his team. Well done! Went into the store to upgrade my 7 year old BassPro fly fishing combo. Jordan was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me about the rod that I bought. He then went a step further and helped me set it up so that I could leave the store and go straight to the river and fish. He shared a few tips and I literally caught my PB rainbow trout. It was actually my first wild rainbow trout I caught without a fishing guide. I’m forever thankful for the help and I’ll 100% come back next year for a guided trip.

Always wanted to get into fly fishing but have 0 experience so my wife and I booked a 4 hr trip. Justin was our guide, his knowledge and expertise was priceless, learned a ton and definitely want to get into it after this trip. Thanks Justin and Reelfly! Highly recommend!

Justin was a terrific guide and very patient with us novices. Justin coached us to improve our fly fishing technique and we were able to catch several good size trout. It was a perfect day being on the beautiful Guadalupe River fishing.

Highly recommend Reelfly to fish the Guadalupe River. We did a 3/4 day trip with Justin as our guide and had a fantastic time! Justin is very knowledgeable about the river and definitely put us on fish. In fact, my son and I both caught a nice rainbow at the same time...it was a great way to start the day.

Daniel was an amazing guide!! Had a wonderful time and he had so much patience for me who had zero experience in fly finishing!! He taught me the basics and I caught my first fish on a fly rod!! Beautiful views and great company! My husband caught his first trout on a fly rod! Wonderful experience!

An awesome fly shop for gear and for local knowledge. Nick was very helpful and told and out-of-Towner like myself where to go get on some rainbows. Looking forward to setting up a guided tour with this outfit.
