The rooms are gorgeous, the exterior and interior design is gorgeous. The bar is romantic and also serves food along with the full dinning area with a beautiful overlook. There is a fitness center with an indoor pool and changing area which is lovely along with the golf shop and golf course. I have stayed multiple times and the only complaint is the customer service. It’s been consistent through the years to not expect the friendliest of guest services over the phone and to avoid the front desk is in best interest. I just called to ask a question and I stated I had a question, stated my name and said good morning…as I will be checking in today, and the response I received was a stern “what do you want.” I had this call on speaker phone in front of family that have spent many joyous occasions here over a time span of decades and this call led to mouth drops from loyal guests. I hung up as I will not entertain being spoken to in such a manner. Seems odd that a guest services staff member would have such lax phone etiquette. Coming from someone who has worked in marketing for decades, I am aware of the importance of proper customer service , which should always be professional, warm, friendly, helpful and inviting. Poor customer care can ruin a business…also from a guest that has business management experience. Thank you, warm regards, Kayla May.

We only ate at the restaurant, it’s quite unfortunate that you have to be a member or guest for alcohol, especially when no one tells you where or how to be a member. My husband ordered steak, which was chewy and cold, he only took 2 bites. I ordered the mac and cheese, which was just noodles in cheesy water. Total we only took 4-5 bites of food before our appetite was lost. Waitress was hard to track down but she was nice when she was around. Seems like this place is in need of a revamp.

The rooms are not clean. The rugs are disgusting old and verry dirty. The hallways are grey and like walking through a prison, hallway carpet dirty and old.. snd Beds are soo hard! And air conditioning is so old. It can be really cold or hot! The lampshades are old, yellow and torn. We had rented 10 rooms and everyone thought same thing. They realllly need to update! Front desk Lynn is nice and Trent the night clerk guy is friendly. Do not order the pancakes! We could not eat them. Sad to say I cannot highly recommend this Inn. The areas by courtyard are barren!

Beautiful place but that is it. The bed is like sleeping in the floor. There is sound proofing so you hear every kid running down the halls. DONT ORDER FOOD TO GO…Restaurant to eat in was AMAZING. To go they don’t give you any silverware and don’t dare ask for any the front desk will look at you like you are stupid.

Omg do not stay at this reasort! Run down! Grounds at hotel are run down! |Rooms horrible outdated! Rugs are terrible gross and dirty-- ick! Shoud be thrown in the garbage! Tile floor was chipped! |Beds were soo hard! Old old lamps in rooms and a/c system is old! No alarm clock, fridge in room. This is NOT a classy resort! Will not return stay somwewhere else! Lobby dark and dungy!

Very disappointing. we are visiting Heber Springs for the eclipse. Our Vrbo host (and others) recommended RedApple Inn as the best restaurant around, and one of very few that served wine. However, our experience was bad on multiple levels. I called in advance to ask about reservations and was told “oh no, honey, you just come on.” we arrived arrived I saw lots of empty tables but we were told there would be a 15-20 minute wait. about 25 minutes later, we received the text our table was ready. Then we were asked if we were members or guests at the inn. we were not. The hostess hurumphekd and placed us at a table in the corner. When I asked the waitress for wine and she informed us that we wouldn’t be served because we were not members or guests. we ordered our entrees and choice of salad dressing. There was a pretty long wait for the salads to appear. we had butter on the table but no bread. Salad was just a mix of lettuces with 1 slice of cucumber and a piece of bell pepper. we ate all we wanted of those then had a very long wait for our entrees. A couple at the next table ordered after we did but had already received theirs. our waitress was nowhere to be seen. finally the food, including warm rolls, were brought to our table. but our discarded salad plates were not removed. Those rolls were delicious but we never had a chance to ask our MIA waitress for more. My duck appeared as it had been cooked correctly, cut and plated then re-heated or left for way too long under the warmer. The flavor of the duck,mushrooms and sauce were good but the duck was dry, both duck and mushrooms were tough & difficult to cut. The pasta with shrimp was only warm at first & cooled quickly; shrimp was also tough. we were anxious to pay the bill and leave but we had to wait again for our waitress to return. overall the service was slow, non-responsive. we felt like we were looked down on for not being members or guests, and treated as second class citizens. the food was not worth the wait or the trouble. Might have gone down better with a nice bottle of wine but we were denied that.

I will never go back and could not recommend it to anyone.

A unique place. The architecture is worth a visit. It looks like something from Frank Lloyd Wright. It is rooted on the top of a hill in a natural setting with great views. The rooms have been updated through the years. Beds are comfortable. There is a fancy restaurant there with linens and a dress code. The food is incredibly good and is fairly priced. There is a well stocked bar that is open to guests and club members only so there is no riff raff. The staff are all very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. It is a very romantic place. The off season is a great time to go since rooms are a bargain and it is quiet and laid back. It’s our new favorite place.

We stayed for 2 nights and were in room 238, which was very nice. It's at the end of the building and had a shared balcony overlooking the mountains and trees, very nice.

The room was comfortable and quiet, and was probably bigger by a third over most chain hotel rooms. Had a wood cathedral ceiling with wooden beams. The balcony wall was all glass with floor to ceiling wood shutters. You can open up the entire wall to watch the forest.

The room was updated, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was large enough, there was plenty of hot water, the climate control was effective and very quiet. The wifi was strong enough to stream movies on a tablet

The grounds are expensive with a very nice fitness center, pool and many nooks and crannies with private sitting areas among the trees.

The restaurant is very nice, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The inn is a nice place and asks that male guests refrain from wearing hats in the dining room.

This was our first stay at the Inn and we enjoyed it immensely. We will recommend it and will return.
