Let me start by saying if I could have a zero selected on this hotel I would. I booked this hotel in hopes that it was exactly like the pictures because those pictures did a lot of justice. I walked into the hotel saw that it was a disgusting place as soon as I entered my room. It smelled of smoke, but Matt with a lot of air fresheners. The room was dirty, and it felt very unsafe, especially being on the first floor and a woman being alone. The slider door did not feel safe. I checked right out of the hotel 10 minutes after telling them my issues they tried to put me in a different room, but nothing would make me want to stay there. I contacted my credit card company to tell them about this because I booked it through them and they tried very hard to get in contact with the hotel but no one would call them back to issue me a refund. I hope no one else makes a mistake of booking this hotel it is purely disgusting and they are hard to work with. They didn’t even refund me and I stay there 10 minutes. DONT BOOK THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISGUSTED!!!

Stayed here for 4 days and we changed our first room because of clogging issues in the bathroom and water temperature . The rooms also didn’t seem like they were deep cleaned and there were white stains on the comforter. Our new room was better thanks to the man working upfront who was alot of help and very nice. When they switched shifts and a woman worked the front she wasn't very much help with anything and seemed like she didn’t want to do her job. It snowed all weekend and I noticed they never treated the parking. We checked out today at 10:50 am and of course our car was surrounded by snow and ice . We were stuck for 5 hours trying to free our car and when we tried to contact the woman in the lobby for salt or anything that could help she seemed as if she could care less about us being stuck in her parking lot. They had no tools! There were several cars trapped by snow and ice and the workers are offering nothing. I wouldn’t come back to this hotel in the winter!

Positive: The staff was very friendly. I like the complimentary breakfast as well. Negative: I wish the pool was open a little later. We weren?t able to swim because it took so long to drive everywhere we were visiting.

My stay was good and restful. Priyanka, who work at the front seat, was very patient with me when I first arrived. I had an issue with my card. She always had a pleasant smile on her face. All the staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good and hot. I would definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to Connecticut. The kids enjoyed the pool as well

To start our room wasn’t ready until almost 4pm and check in is at 3pm about 5 other families we’re waiting to be checked in, the hallways stink and had small trash on carpets, the room it’s self smelled really bad like the odor from previous people sleeping there, the toilet was dirty, the bathroom walls had holes in it, very old rooms not updated at all, yes the entrance and pool looked nice on the website but for $180 a night the least they can do is have a nice clean room. Beds were completely uncomfortable the best thing about breakfast was the coffee and waffle maker, the ladies that worked breakfast area were rude. At night 12am kids running and screaming the hallways there was no quiet time, if you’re trying to get away for a quiet relaxing night this is not the place. Sorry I usually don’t go in this bad on places but this was a stressful night. Plus they hold $50 dollars at check in and don’t tell you about it.

We were extremely happy with our stay at the Ramada at Windsor Locks. The rooms were exceptionally clean and remodelled. We never heard another person through the walls (unlike what another reviewer stated). The full breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The lobby was fully updated and spacious as was the breakfast area. The staff were courteous and accommodating. Upon checkin they let me know that there was a $50 deposit that they were taking on my credit card. No issues with “extra charges” that another reviewer had mentioned. The hallways are still in need of updating but for us, that is not a big deal as the rooms were updated, clean and very spacious. We stayed 3 days as we attended a festival and my husband said he wished he could have stayed longer! I would highly recommend staying here and would do it again if we are back next year.

Mold around tub, bar of soap stuck to the shower curtain, literally dried to the shower curtain, can't even imagine when it was washed last, shampoo, conditioner and lotion bottles half empty or more, the breakfast was free but served by an employee, there was a sign that stated 1 sausage patty, 1 egg, 1 oj and 1 milk, no seconds, there was a huge line because everything was served by an employee. I cannot ever think of a hotel offering free breakfast and then say only 1 egg or this or that and then they serve you. If you can stay someplace else do so, I will not be staying with this hotel again. Ended up showering at a different location do to the issues with this bathroom.

I booked this hotel because my family and I were visiting the big E and it was the only hotel in the area within 20 minutes for under $200. However, the Outside appearance of the hotel is not very pleasing. The lobby is beautiful and the woman who checked me in was Wonderful. Unfortunately, the rooms could be cleaner. There was stains on the bedding hair stuck to the wall in the bathroom so I guess you get what you pay for.
