Nice people. Lil expensive. I'm just annoyed how my family has been going there waaay before the new owners, and we have been using their service every year and on the same date. Mind you, we've been doing this since my dad was a teenager. Then we go to set up a date, and told they don't have a cabin. Like I get first come first serve, so I guess being loyal customers doesn't count for anything.

Had a great time staying here for a week! The new owners are laid back but attentive, so felt like we could relax and enjoy ourselves coming and going as we pleased. Seems like they're working on some updates which is cool but the cabins have pretty much everything you need. Loved how it felt like the middle of nowhere, especially at night, but we were close to tons of things/places to keep us entertained. Definitely coming back!

LOVED everything & so very thankful to have found this spot. Tucked away right off the main road in its own private secluded quarters. We stayed in the newest cabins 1&2. Absolutely gorgeous & generously spaced. We've been in some pretty rustic cabins before so this was very refreshing to have all the amenities like kitchen/fridge/stove/coffee maker/tv/fireplace. All the bed sheets were incredibly soft haha. & we are so grateful for such an affordable cost!! Also totally impressed with the outside hangout area!!! With a kids playset, horseshoe, cornhole, firepit & mini pavilion!! Thank you for being sweet hosts. It was quite the drive for us but it's the perfect place to stay whenever one is Up North!! Quite convenient to be in the middle of so many waterfalls & close to town attractions(=

We loved our stay at R Cabins. The area was so beautiful and the cabins were the perfect place to stay during our trip. They had everything we needed for a very good price. The cabins were comfortable, accommodating, and inviting. Thanks Robin and Don for making our stay great!

When we first looked at cabin 4, it seemed fine. You showed us the 2 new cabins but the price was $80 and we felt for one night stay, cabin 4 would be fine since we would only be sleeping there. Much to our surprise, the cabin was infested with spiders. I had to sweep spiders and spider webs out of all the windows prior to opening. Spider webs in the shower and in all the corners.
I planned to make coffee for the morning, the coffee pot was dirty and had a dead fly in it. Needless to say, I did not make coffee.
My husband and I arrived back late after visiting a friend. When getting into bed, the bed squeaked so bad we could not sleep together. The mattress was so old and thin, the springs could be felt. In the middle of the night, it felt like something was crawling in the mattress. The sheets were so thin, I would only use them for rags. The blankets had holes in them.
We both had spider bites in the morning. We both slept about 4 hours and we were out of the cabin by 7:30 am. I almost got up to sleep in the car, but the mosquitoes were so bad, it was impossible.
The floor had a dip in it near the kitchen, which the wood under it was totally rotten and the place had mold (which I am allergic).
I could not believe the up would actually rent a place like that to anyone. The place was disgusting and should be torn down. I left you a note to let them know you should be ashamed of yourselves for renting that cabin to anyone.
Apparently, you did not see the note, which was left near the coffee pot or you haven't cleaned the cabin yet because you told the owners of the Y Cabins that we liked their cabin better.
I would not recommend anyone to stay at your cabins.
We do not know if the new cabins are the same as cabin 4, but I do not trust you to tell the truth.
I have informed our friend not to refer anyone to your cabins. If you wonder why you do not get repeat customers or new customers, maybe you should take a good look at your cabins.
Shame on you guys.
