QUINO EL GUARDIAN - BAD BOAT NO Comfortable !!!
LIVEABOARD - SOCORRO ISLAND- Mexico

DIVES are very good!
David the dive guide very knowledgeable, hard working , always helpful, knows where to look for marine life, knows how to read the currents and where to locate divers for the best expirience seeing the big marine life.
Crew is friendly.

FOOD - GOOD, But maybe less tacos meals, it was very much repetitive.

BOAT TERRIBLE - and not suitable to be 10 days out in the sea. VERY NOISY -ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO SLEEP for 10 days, even when you are tired of foing 3 or 4 dives a day dealing every dive with curent.
This WOOD BOAT IS very noisy ( video attached- mobile phone quality) the sound of the creaking wood is so loud and constant that not even ear plugs/or noise cancellation headphones can muffle the sound.

THE CABINS ARE WAY TO SMALL And NOT COMFORTABLE ( AND I'M NOT A BIG PERSON!)
SHARING WITH 4 PERSONS!!!
NO FRESH AIR CIRCILATION IN THE ROOMS, THEY SMELL BADLY EVERYDAY, ALWAYS!
There is an AIR-CONDITIONED, but it just use the uses the ALREADY RAREFIED AIR from the room it does not bring FRESH / NEW air from outside.
No windows ( no small glass for outside)
Apart from that, NO WC in the rooms/ NO PRIVATE WC's.

4 SHARED TOILETS for 25 PERSONS - (2 for Ladies and 2 for Men's) shared with 16 customers + 9 or 10 CREW members.
WC are outside, in the exterior deck of the boat. So during night or bad weather ou need to come outside for toilet time/ showers.

There are not enough room in social area to acomodate everyone! Often after dive we wanted to chat and share pictures, but we could not feet all.

I REGRET this choice, as it was the only available boat when we buy the trip. If I knew better this WILL NEVER be a choise, as the Socorro liveaboard trip is a DREAM for every diver and its VERY EXPENSIVE , so you don't want to ruin your trip, your time, your health and your money using a boat that not suits the needs.

Sleeping privation is a high risk for health and it can be a high risk for diving. Last thing you want in vacation, and when you are making a dream come true, is to get so exhausted physically of not sleeping and not having minimum confort that you are not able to fully enjoy your DIVES and your vacation time!!!

This boat its maybe suitable for Mar de Cortez, for smaller trips near shore, and definitely not for 10 days trip offshore.

This review is not in a way to damage the company, it's a recommendation for them to improve the quality of the service in their operation in SOCORRO Liveboards using better boat. Apart from.this Boat - QUINO EL GUARDIAN, They have another diferent boat called ROCIO EL GUARDIAN- metal boat. And I know from other divers that the conditions are WAY BETER: Rooms are private with private WC inside, more space in all the areas, rooms, social, meals, dive deck, lounge solar deck...

MY FIRST POURPOUSE it to make other Divers aware of this condictions, so they know better and can make better decisions when choosing the boat to make their Liveabord in SOCORRO and enjoying their time and Dives!!!
