My husband and I were extremely pleased with the services of Jeremy of Pyrenees & More in helping to design the perfect trip to northern Spain. We had some specific ideas for our trip, such as visiting Barcelona and Bilbao, the Rioja region, and walking for a few days on the Camino de Santiago. In preparation for the trip, we communicated with Jeremy on many occasions by email and Zoom. He arranged for reservations at comfortable, well situated and reasonably priced hotels in 10 cities, towns and villages throughout Catalunya, Navarre, Rioja, Basque, Cantabria and Asturias over the course of 15 days. He provided detailed directions and instructions for our travels by car and even for where to park. He also made excellent recommendations for the best attractions, activities and restaurants in each location and on the way from one location to another. He was available by phone and by messaging during the trip whenever we had a question. We could not have asked for better service.

Awesome 11 days of hiking in the gorgeous French and Spanish Pyrenees with Pyrenees & More

We were a group of 16 (!!! Not a typo) hikers (and wannabe hikers) with very mixed abilities who hiked the French and Spanish Pyrenees for 11 days with Pyrenees & More in early July 2023.
This is a trip we had planned with Jeremy back in 2020 which unfortunately got canceled due to Covid and we finally got the opportunity to realize it in 2023. Back in 2020, Jeremy had helped us draft an itinerary which included the best hikes in the best locations in both the French and Spanish Pyrenees and also included alternate hike options for the intermediate and beginner hikers. We had 2-3 different hiking options every day and a team of 3 guides for our 16 person group.
Not an easy task to juggle a large group of 16 people with very mixed abilities but Pyrenees & More has a great team of guides who gave us an amazing experience and great memories to take back home with us.
David, our lead guide stayed with us the entire trip and we had a different set of other guides in France and Spain. All excellent guides whose top priority was to ensure we all stayed safe and unharmed while having a great experience. We had great conversations with our many guides who had different backgrounds and interests. And David has guided hikes in well over a dozen countries which I found crazy impressive and some of which are on my future to do list and I got some great tips from him.
I cannot recommend Pyrenees & More highly enough. Jeremy will help you draft an amazing itinerary based on your interests and you will be in excellent hands with their experienced and knowledgeable team of guides.

Magical experience in the Pyrenees
July 2023

The Pyrenees are absolutely enchanting - the hikes, mountains, scenery, small towns, food and its people - make for a fabulous vacation. We started in Toulouse and hiked around Arreau, Cauterets, Gavarnie, Torla and Benasque over 11 days. Some of the non-hiking stops were at Pic du Midi, Ainsa and Montserrat, just as enjoyable.

What made our trip memorable was the care and expertise of Jeremy, David and their team of guides - Rob and Gareth in France and Melvin and Olatz in Spain. In addition to being excellent hiking guides, these guides were passionate about the Pyrenees and shared its history, fauna and flora and geology.

We were a big group of 16 with varying hiking skills, which were accommodated with easy, moderate and sometimes, difficult routes. Each group was accompanied by a guide. Safety was always their first concern, especially if there was a risk of bad weather.

No question was left unanswered, no request ignored and plenty of recommendations given, when asked! What this meant at a practical level was that each day, each hike was enjoyable and stress free. I can't wait to hike again with Pyrenees & More!

A group of us, 16 to be exact, did the Pyrenees hike from June 30-July 12, 2023 that was arranged by Jeremy and David who own and operate the travel agency, Pyrenees and More. We landed in Toulouse, France, from various locations in the US and were met by Jeremy and David who drove us to Arreau, our first stop on the hike, where we met our local guides, Rob and Garret. The route took us through Cauterets, Gedre, Gavarnie in the French Pyrenees and then to Torla and ending in Benasque in the Spanish Pyrenees after a short visit to the historic town of Ainsa. We were driven from one village or town to the next, spending two nights in every town and hitting the trails from and around those towns.
We are all hikers but with variable skill levels. Keeping this in mind, Jeremy had arranged for hikes of at least 2 different levels of challenge, with a guide for each group. Every trail was spectacular with gorgeous mountain views, waterfalls, glacial lakes and wooded forests! We visited Col du Tourmalet, end point of one of the most challenging climbs in the Tour de France bike race, took a cable care to Pic du Midi de Bigorre for a panoramic view of the French Pyrenees, experienced the excitement that was building up in the entire town of Cauteret where the Tour de France cyclists were expected to arrive the following day. The hotel arrangements, breakfast and first night's dinner in every town, including delicious vegetarian fare for some in the group, was taken care of and we had the opportunity to explore the towns and visit local restaurants on our own on other days. Jeremy dropped by every few days to make sure that everything was in order, but David, Rob and Garret stayed with us until we crossed over to Spain, at which point we bid goodbye to Rob and Garret and said hello to Melvin, our guide in Spain. Our tour ended in Barcelona with a stopover in Montserrat. I can't say enough about the meticulous arrangements that were made for our large group. All the guides were amazing. Rob has a PhD in geology! Who better to tell us all about the Pyrenean geological features! Garret is equally knowledgeable about local culture and history. David is an artist who paints. We are all now the proud owners of T shirts with David's paintings of Pyrenees landscapes. Melvin had spent a few years as a guide in India and it was interesting to talk to his about his experiences. I can't thank Jeremy enough for the meticulous and wonderful arrangements he made throughout the 12 days we spent hiking and traveling. David, Rob, Garret and Melvin are excellent guides who made the hikes interesting and enjoyable. I will cherish the memories of our Pyrenees hike for ever.

This summer I went on a two week hiking vacation in the Pyrénées Mountain Ranges. Our tour operator was Pyrénées and More, owned and operated by Jeremey and David. Managing our vacation was a challenging assignment for them due to a variety of reasons. We were a large group (16) with varying interests, skill levels and dietary restrictions. Our trip also included stays in multiple hotels. Jeremy and David came through with flying colors on every aspect of our trip; Selecting the nicest hotels, ensuring that the transport between locations and to the trailheads was comfortable with the drivers arriving promptly as scheduled each day, accommodating our differing abilities by organizing at least two different hikes each day, and catering to our dietary restrictions. Rob, Garret and Melvin were the three, excellent guides who accompanied us on the hikes. I had a wonderful time on this trip and would not think twice before signing up with Pyrenees and More for another vacation.

Pyrenees and More sets the bar for high-quality, concierge-level tours. We had the privilege to join them for a guided trip on the Camino de Santiago in Spring 2022 and it surpassed all of our expectations. Our guides were experts in every aspect of the tour - at each stop, they were often on a first-name basis with the locals we'd interact with. Better still, this was more than just a job for them - they clearly loved the country, the people and the Camino. It showed in every stop and interaction, including custom aspects of the tour that you wouldn't find elsewhere. And as a bonus, they are just the kindest and most gracious hosts we've traveled with. And their entertaining stories were the icing on the cake.

Memorable, Lovely Hiking/Learning Experience with Pyrenees & More

Had a wonderful time with knowledgeable guide David on a nice long hiking experience with Pyrenees and more. Loved it as did the other participants. Would absolutely again! Thanks
