I recently joined a boat tour with the Providence River Boat Company, and I was impressed with my experience! The boat tour provided a fascinating insight into the history of Providence. The captain of the boat was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and provided a lot of information in a way that was easy to understand and very engaging. The commentary enhanced the experience, and it was a great way to learn about the city's rich heritage.

The price for the tour was reasonable and well worth the cost. The tour was a great value for the money spent. Additionally, the boat was spacious and comfortable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Providence River Boat trip with Captain Tom. It's one thing to view the city from a van (which we also enjoyed) but seeing the city from the prospective of the river is taking the tour to another level. We checked in at the appointed time and went across the street to the river to board our boat. Captain Tom gave us a safety briefing before proceeding with a VERY informative sightseeing tour and travelogue up and down the river. Definitely a highlight of our day trip to Providence, Rhode Island.

My family and I did the River boat tour last night and really enjoyed it. Tom was a great tour guide with lots of knowledge on the history of Providence. We loved the I-95 bridge story as well as all the other information we learned from him. We also enjoyed the delicious ice cream at The Landing before heading out on our tour. Got free parking right in front which was nice.

We did a haunted boat tour for my Dad’s birthday. It was hosted by a providence boat tours and accompanied by providence ghost tours—what a seamless collaboration. It was theatrical, chilling and somehow very relaxing. We all enjoyed it very much —and we’re locals! Getting a glimpse of Rhode Island’s haunted history while floating through the canals of providence gave us a new view of our enchanting city. Highly recommend.

What a great experience!! Captain Tom was a great tour guide. He was super knowledgeable, very friendly and had a great sense of humor. We didn't have a lot of time in Providence, so we weren't sure what to do. Taking the boat tour was a great choice and good use of our time. We highly recommend it for anyone visiting the city...you will learn a lot and see some pretty great views.

Wonderful experience today! Captain Tim and the tour narrator Jake were superb! Very knowledgeable and informative. We loved that we were able to bring food and drinks aboard. This tour by far was one of the best. An affordable rate for a guided tour on the water. We enjoyed the small group and the relaxed atmosphere.
