Of course I am going to give this 5-stars because I am a Historical Storyteller ("tour guide"), however, we have 10 Historical Storytellers, the walking tour is FREE (Yes, you can go on the tour as many times as you like), the tour starts at 10 A.M. on Fridays, Satursdays, and Sundays in front of the Chamber of Commerce, and the tours are 90 minutes long. As a Historical Storyteller; My tour is 90 minutes long, we stay in the plaza area with many stops along the way, it may start off as a boring, history class but then, I start to make it interactive. Oh, local or tourist, we do not care, show up and have fun!

I highly recommend the Prescott Walking Tour. I loved it and so did my kids. Knowledgeable local guides take you around the courthouse square and adjoining roads pointing out and telling you local history. Outstanding. They pointed out the old "hanging tree" across from the Courthouse and up a ways that was literally used in early times for just that purpose. Gun shot holes still left in the ceiling of the Palace Bar from the old days. Amazing history.
