I went one time it was very cold had to use my own heat and electricity blanket, and not very cheap for getting there late. They charged us full price, I just needed a place to sleep with my adult son, it had 2 double beds that was the only perk. Not very clean years ago, I used my own blankets. And had to leave without getting extra time in room. They were not very nice. I have not been back , and I don't recommend it at all

This place was a great stop as I was taking Route 13 in rural Delaware. The manager was very nice and ensured that I had a quiet room. The room was clean and had the basic appointments. The TV and cable worked well. I enjoyed catching up on Homeland on Showtime. After a nights rest, I enjoyed the hot shower and kept on my way north. All in all a great quiet spot off 13. Oh and it was great that they had free wi-fi. I used it to catch up on some work without going over my data plan.

Pointers Motel is clean, quiet, safe. Absolutely no bedbugs, roaches, no infestations of any kind. The buildings are quite old, and some look old inside, but sound. My time there i have no complaints. I would assume it those complaint of bedbugs we're made by 'riff-raff'. Riff-raff is not tolerated there. Most reasonable accommodation available.

From the outside, this place looked less dismal than the other old motels on US 13. That might indeed be the case, but it's a very low bar (see the terrifying Carol Ann just to the north for an idea).|||| The motel is probably from the early '50s, and looks decent from the outside. The rate was acceptable at $40. The first problem was that there are no non-smoking rooms, but our room had only a very faint odor. The carpet was clean, and the furniture was in pretty good shape, but the sheets on the bed were very old, and had hairs in them, as did the tiny scratchy towels. Despite it being very chilly outside, there was no blanket on the bed, just sheets and a duvet. There was only a TV in our room, and one table lamp (no overhead fixture). There were 2 mountings in the old saggy tile ceiling for smoke detectors, but no actual devices. There was a very crudely patched hole in the wall near the bed, probably from a rambunctious guest. Heat was provided by a window unit, which was unable to keep the chill out of the bathroom.|||| The bathroom was very crudely built, probably by Mr. Poynter himself. None of the walls were quite straight, and there were about 4 colors of tile. The shower was small, but the water was nice and hot. High above the sink, there was a huge blood(?) stain on the tiles.|||| I like to give these old roadside places a chance, but pass this one by. If you're on a budget, Harrington has a Super 8 or similar.

Smallest bathroom I've ever seen cant even wipe. The bed was so broken in it felt like we were sinking in the middle. Plus they raised the price from 40 to 50 and honestly its not worth that much especially when you can't get a comfortable night sleep. If you have nowhere to else to go then maybe decide to stay other than that deal with the car is what were doing

TERRIBLE PLACE!! My husband my 5 year old and myself got kicked out cuz I had to go to the store and my husbands friend was waiting for me to get back so he could leave with his ride. Smh we had no ride so we had to sit in the cold and rain until we could finally get a lyft.

Great if you need a room and are on a tight budget the only good thing about this place is the soda machine that spits super cold 20 ounce bottles out for a little more than a dollar and the soda machine even takes debit or credit cards and you can only pay for the room in cash

Go up
