Piglets Adventure Farm - York

We visited the Santa sleigh ride yesterday at Piglets with our 3 year old. What an absolutely lovely evening. Santa was very realistic and one of the best I've seen! Everything was so magical, lots included such as a free gift, reindeer food, making a pair card for santa and the extras were reasonably priced too.

We got a photo bauble, large pizza and chips, two drinks, chocolate lolly and marshmallow for £35. Mine pie and mulled wine for the grown ups was a nice touch.

It was chucking it down with rain but most bits were covered so was fine. The only one tiny little detail would be for some more lights! We went at 5pm and struggled to see some bits due to the dark like the big Christmas tree wasn't lit and the entrance to the woodland village so we couldn't read the sign. Just having those little bits lot up would have made it absolutely perfect. We will definitely come again though.

A fantastic experience on the Santa sleigh ride. Santa played his role well and the experiences was great start to finish. The woodland village was cute with decent food options. It could have benefitted with an engaging activity such as gingerbread decorating etc but all in all a great experience

Its a great day out for kids and especially if they like animals it's a great visit. Theres lots to do such as see the animals and an opportunity to pet the rabbits, there are playground stuff, shows, trails and a little beach area which the kids love. So all in all the visit was good.

I'm leaving a 4 star review, sorry but had to dock a star for the following reasons:

1) I called the farm about 10 days before I visited as I had a query, the phone message refers you to go online, which I did and sent an email. I didnt get a response, even now it's been around 2 weeks and still go no response, not that this matter now. The service in person is good but their digital communication needs improvement.

2) the food. Food itself wasn't too bad but there was quite a bit of a wait, the hot food that is. There is no expectation management, so we waited over half hr. If I knew this was the case before I visited, I would have either ordered earlier or brought a picnic with me.

Other than those two issues, the day out was fun and enjoyable.

P.S. I know the photos are not that great but I didn't feel comfortable taking photos where there were lots of people I don't know and not fair for me to post pics of people I don't know

What a fabulous place to take children & adults. My grandchildren love Piglets Adventure farm as do my family. No matter what time of year we go, rain, sun or freezing cold the staff are always so friendly & welcoming. We always leave planning our next visit.

Lovely afternoon out with the grandchildren, lots to do and see, the dinosaurs were fab, there's a maze and a hunt for fossils which they enjoyed, I would recommend taking your own food and drinks as it can get expensive but would definitely recommend 👌

From Mini golf to farm animals. Beach area. To slides indoor play area with Great slides.
Anyone looking for someone to go for a family day out!!

Piglets farm is a fabulous day out for families. We hired a Beach Hut for the day, at a cost of £15. Well worth it, to store bags etc. The beach huts come with 2 deckchairs, and are situated opposite the beach area, where there is lots of sand, dino digs and water dams. We took the tractor ride to the indoor playbarn, however didn't go inside as was a hot sunny day. There are lots of outdoor activities:
Bouncy pillow
Zip wire
Go carts
Mini golf
Slides
Water balloon catapult ( cost of £2 for 10 balloons)
Pig barrel ride
Troll & Fairy walk
Themed shows throughout the day
Foam party at 4pm

There are also lots of animals to see, donkeys, goats, piglets, lambs, chickens etc. We had great fun watching the 6 week old piglets making their escape from their pen, only to be put back in by a member of staff. Apparently this. is a regular occurence. So cute and funny to watch. There is also an indoor maternity area where you can see the newborn goats, pigs, and lambs.

We only bought drinks and ice-cream on the day, which were reasonably priced.

The staff were very friendly and polite. Will definitely return in the future.

Piglets was absolutely brilliant. We came today for the Easter Egg-stravaganza and our 3 1/2 year old thought it was really fun!

From seeing the animals and feeding the lambs to digging for dinosaur bones in the sand and playing on piglets pillows. He enjoyed everything.

From start to finish it was an all out adventure for him.

The staff were really pleasant throughout the day and happy to help where they could.

This is our second time here. We came in December for Santa's Grotto. That was on another level. Both times it has been really well planned and thought out.

All in all we had a fantastic time and shall definitely visit again.
