Petro Travel Center, December 29, 2023 We had stopped in me & the family & our two furry babies to use the restrooms on our way to Los Angeles. This Travel Center is always so clean & plenty of shops & the main store & the IHOP & BR for Ice Cream also plus so much more! & for so many trucker's passing thru coming & going for fuel & whatever they might need. Thank you Petro & to everyone that works here for making it a great place to stop & shop at wherever your going or coming from! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s & a ?"Happy New Year 2024"!

Very clean and nice travel center, the workers are all very kind and helpful. The hours for the stores are a bit odd and i do wish the ihop was 24/7 but i see why its not, its very empty when i usually go in at night. I would totally recommend this place to truckers or just families who are going on some sort of trip! Very clean and nice establishment. The arcade game music can get a bit annoying though, but i bet the employees probably wish the volume was toned down too! I can hear it from the ihop restaurant and i was near the back! Totally worth it place though!!

For the lady who decorated the women's bathroom near the diesel fuel station, Thank you so much for bringing a little bit of home to those of us who travel for a living. I appreciate each holiday that you decorate for! ?

As for the showers, they were well designed with plenty of water pressure.

The parking lot is huge and rarely full. There's plenty of grass for our fur friends to stretch their legs.

Several restraunts in the immediate area that is within walking distance.

The only downside to this location is the out dated coffee machines and lack of quality coffee. Luckily, there's a Starbucks across the street.?

I’ve been staying here at least 2 times a week for years and has been a nice place to stay plenty of parking. But reason for three stars is because the shower experience has been horrible since summer has started. Their A/C in the shower area hasn’t been working for months. It gets very humid in there and get very sweaty after you dry off and start dressing. The water doesn’t even come out cold maybe it’s due to the heat from outside. Either way it’s been horrible to shower experience and seeing how long it’s been down I don’t think those overseeing the store care very much.

This truck stop is perfect. It has everything that I may wish: clean showers and restrooms, hot water that is really hot, good kitchen, a lot of stores in both buildings., huge parking lot with easy in and out. Good job Petro!

IHOP Smiles? Not me. Rude servers, lousy service, lack of teamwork and communication, overpriced, low quality food and small portions and the young server had the gall to sneer because I’m a trucker. IHOP!!! Remember, your food is delivered to your stores by truck. I would rather dine in at the Black Bear Diner by the TA, across from the Petro, since I know they do have better service and decent price for a good size portion of quality food. I would not stop at the IHOP at the Petro Wheeler Ridge ever, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

This place is great. I always stop here when traveling from northern California to LA. The bathrooms are clean and they have a variety of foods and beverages. There is also a subway inside.
