Maren Milton is fantastic! I'm so glad I found an equestrian trainer that teaches holistically. Her method of teaching makes me really understand horses and reduces fear and anxiety around tacking and riding. If you want to truly LEARN every aspect of horsemanship, not just learn to sit on a saddle, Maren Milton's Peaceful Woods Farm is THE place to go!!! I recommend her to all of my friends. Every lesson I feel like I'm an Avatar learning the ways of the forest!!

We visited Peaceful Woods Farm today and it was a lovely and indeed peaceful experience! My daughters (6 and 11) had the best time ever riding Lil Man! He was such a cool, patient, and relaxed horse! Also, Mrs. Maren (owner/instructor)was so sweet, kind, and knowledgeable about the horses and their care. My daughters learned so much from her and so did I. We definitely plan to go back to try the trail experience in the near future!! We will bring daddy/hubby and get him saddled up too!! I highly recommend!!

To me, in the climate this world has shifted to with senseless killings, madness, mayhem, pandemics, I'm grateful to have crossed paths with Mrs. Maren. She's just a wonderful person with a great business. Due to my severely over packed worked schedule, Mrs. Maren booked my daughter and I a training on a day she doesn't normally work. I was so appreciative. My daughter had a blast! This is a great and wonderful business! Great service and professionalism. Kudos!!

Ms. Maren brought Winter the pony (plus her own wheelbarrow and shovel!) to our home for our 5 year olds birthday party. Each child at the party got several rides and everyone had so much fun. It made the party special for a very reasonable price. Very very happy with our experience and would recommend her to anyone.

Mrs. Maren is the sweetest, most patient woman I’ve ever met. My daughter has had a love for horses since before she could talk. Finally we found Mrs. Maren and couldn’t be happier with the services we were provided. We will certainly visiting regularly.

Maren and her horses provided a wonderful experience for my 8 year old daughters first horseback riding lesson. Maren is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. She made us feel very welcome to her farm, which lives up to its name, Peaceful Woods. You can sense the bond and passion she has for her horses. All three males were very social and receptive. I took my 4 year old son and 3 year old niece for a pony ride. Maren was wonderful with them! It wasn't just a ride, it was a full experience. The kids got to brush the pony, learned a bit about horses, and also helped with the tack. Maren took her time leading each child around the large enclosed riding area twice. Very reasonably priced for a great morning out 😊 We will be back!

Maren has hosted Pony Parties as a volunteer for our church in Manorville on Long Island for years. She graciously donated her time for Harvest Day celebrations, for Vacation Bible School events and even for the local Christmas Parade. She is very safety-conscious and aware, making sure children of all ages and experience are catered to. Her gentle, loving manner with her horses and ponies is beautiful to watch. She expertly and selflessly includes everyone in her love for her animals with a teacher's heart. In fact, Maren's fluency in Spanish has made it possible for us to more easily include the children and families from our Spanish-speaking community as well. We have been blessed to retain her services here in New York for many years, and we are sure that those in Delaware who have had the pleasure of meeting Maren feel that same gratitude.
