Peace of Earth is a hidden gem surrounded by a calm forest. When you wake up in the morning, make your way out to the Tree House- expect to be greeted by a cool breeze through the leaves, warm coffee, and a hot, delicious breakfast from Pat. Pat and Tim are gracious hosts who love to educate and speak about their property. The rooms/ cabins were clean, beautifully decorated, and had fresh towels and blankets. They also had fans and extra pillows if anyone needed them! Each cabin had air conditioning which was very nice with the July heat. The Nature Center is beautiful and full of fun activities. The Tree House was probably my favorite though. The Tree House had a lot of seating options including two hammock swings which were very relaxing.

One of our new favorite places. Pat and Tim were so accommodating. So peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was outstanding. We will be back in the fall. If you need a nice, quiet place to get away check this place out.

Peace of Earth was the perfect location to escape the real world for a weekend! Pat and Tim were not only accommodating and gracious hosts, but offered a wealth of knowledge and even more kindness then one could ever ask for. The breakfasts were exquisite, having been cooked fresh with ingredients right from the garden- delicious is an understatement. If you are looking for a temporary home away from home, look no further!

We had our company retreat at Peace of Earth and it was above a 5 star resort! Pat and Time were absolutely the best hosts and delivered above anything that I could have imagined. Not only was Peace of Earth a relaxing place to escape the hustle of life and work but we learned and grew while we were there. The kindness and knowledge we gained from them are one of a kind. The breakfasts were impeccable. They grow their own food from their garden and took special care in deliverying the best quality meals. This is a peacful hidden gem that makes the forest feel like home.

We absolutely loved visiting Peace of Earth Lodge. Pat and Tim are wonderful and our stay was amazing. It was just me and my husband this time but it would also be great for kids. Everything was clean and well maintained. Their trails were some of the best we've ever walked as far as maintenance. The food was incredible and we felt right at home. We stayed in the tree house and loved falling asleep to night noises and fresh air. It is a great place for all ages and group sizes.

Peace of Earth Lodge in Rushville was a great experience! It rained our first night and Saturday morning there, but we stayed in the tree house and listening to the storm throughout the night added so much more enjoyment to our stay. The sounds of nature surrounding us was thrilling! Owls would be the sound we woke up to every morning. The other guests were very friendly and our stay became more of a "couples retreat" to a small little gathering of friendly faces who in a way made it seem as more of a family gathering. We are going back in the fall to stay in a cabin! Such a fun little get away not to far from home. We only spent 2 nights there but felt like Pat and Tim were extended family just letting us crash there for a few nights! They were always around and watching out for us, making sure we were comfortable and happy! Shower rooms, outside seating areas, fire pits, storm shelter, board games, tv, breakfast, common areas, ping pong, nature center and trails all available! Breakfast was a nice time to look forward to, as we all gathered in the kitchen area and sat around the table laughing, joking and telling stories! Tim and Pat are very knowledgeable of there area and it was fun to listen to their history. It's camping meets bed&breakfast style! We loveddd it!

Peace of Earth Lodge is a picturesque gem that you may not have realized could exist among the cornfields. We stayed in the Sycamore cabin with our two kids (ages 5 and 8). It had plenty of space for all of us. Both we and the kids had a blast exploring nature. The property has lovely wooded trails and creek to explore and a "nature playground" that our kids spent hours in, as well as chickens, a garden and so many hummingbirds that you could sit and watch them for hours. There is also an open field if you want to bring a ball to throw around or some other outdoor activity. The cabins each have a screened-in porch built at tree-level which is a fabulous place to relax among the birds and breeze. Pat and Tim's hospitality is impeccable and the food was wonderful. They grow plenty of produce on site - the weekend we were there breakfast included a bounty of freshly picked blackberries - Yum!

Peace of Earth is truly a slice of heaven and we received amazing service from its caring owners. Upon arrival, we were immediately immersed in nature and hospitality. The accommodations are comfortable, food is so delicious, and the calm vibes are second to none. Can't wait to go back!
