We are return guests of The Palace motel because it is clean, quiet, has a really nice staff, ample parking, and is well located. We shopped around and chose The Palace back in September; when we returned to De Queen in October, we again chose The Palace. When we travel, we like accommodations that are easy. This place is easy and it is a good value. We highly recommend it!

Quaint little motel, the rooms had everything that you would need for an overnight stay. Nothing fancy but pretty comfortable, although it did appear that they were doing some updating. I did notice that some of the rooms might not be equipped with a tub and a shower so if you have a preference you need to let them know at check in.
I would recommend this place especially if you're on a budget and I would definitely stay there again.

The rooms here were dated, but clean. Staying here just before the eclipse, the price was reasonable (no price gouging, thanks!)

Clean beds: a must for me. Just needing a place to get some sleep. I never turned on the tv.

Internet: while not the fastest, was better than some places. I would like to see some security in place than just open. I’ve got a vpn, so I’m not too concerned. Definitely enough for larger files of overnight.

Conveniently close to restaurants.

Staff seemed friendly, and the yes, I’ll email some pics!

I don’t know where to start, I have stayed at the this motel many times (At least once a week)! They always great me with a smile and wonder hospitality!! The rooms are always clean and if you stay another night they always make sure you get anything you need for your next day!! They always take care of me, I have a problem with seeing the TV and they make sure that I am put in a room with a TV that I can see! I could go on and on!! A wonderful place and Clean and quiet environment, and also close to a lot of restaurants, Walmart and many other places!!

Made reservations in Nov 2023 for upcoming stay Apr 2024. Was quoted a price of $65/day. 3 night stay totaling approximately $195 + taxes. Called Jan 7, 2024 to verify reservations and price. Price now was $200 per night. I cancelled my reservation by phone. Was told there was no email available to send/receive correspondence concerning cancellation? I think I made my reservation prior to the staff being aware there was a solar eclipse happening on the dates I’d reserved. By Jan 2024, I think the staff realized the event and jacked their prices without saying anything. Seems to be a bad business practice and very shady. WILL NOT EVER STAY THERE AGAIN!

I travel most of the year and one of the highlights of my travels is getting to stay here. The owners and staff are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. The rooms are awesome and very clean. It's like being home for me. I would recommend this place to everyone. The rates are great and the location is perfect.
