Epic Day in the backcountry with Pacific Crest Snowcats. Lived in Tahoe for years and never knew anything like this existed. Our guides Keegan and Kendall were amazing and put us on the goods all day. Can’t wait to go back soon and see what the upper Alpine has to offer!! Highly recommend these guys.

First class operation. Keegan and Sasha were great and keegan was an excellent guide keeping us safe when conditions were ripe for an avalanche. We had one of the best days ever with 13 runs of deep untracked powder. Tahoe best kept secret and a way better value than the sh*t show at Palisades. Highly reccommend and can't wait to ride with them again.

I can’t believe I’ve lived in Tahoe my whole life and only just now discovered we have epic cat skiing. Kegan and his crew (shout out to lead guide Nikki) at pacific snowcats are amazing with access to some of the best backcountry terrain in Tahoe. Even with a full cat of 12 people and over 3 days since the last storm, everyone got a shot at fresh pow turns on super fun steep and technical runs. So proud to have access to this in our backyard and will definitely be going out again.

Owners Keegan and Sasha were easy to communicate with while guides Eric and Nicki showed us the goods on a storm day. Epic day that will be in my memory bank for a while. Thanks PCS. See you again soon.

I booked a day at PCS once I realized the weather window would likely be great for a day or two after a big, cold Tahoe Storm. The avalanche risk was still considerable and our guides Kendall and Eric did a great job testing the snow throughout the day and keeping us on safe terrain. The snow was epic that day and we had a fantastic time skiing safer, lower angle glades, open faces, gulleys, bowls and trees. The trees are quite widely spaced to allow for higher speed linked turns. There were three 8-12 passenger cats out that day, but we rarely ran into the other groups. It is about a 45 minute ride in and out to the tenure from the meeting point on Cabin Creek Road. We ended up getting 9 runs with 8-9K vertical. The group was pretty tired by the end of the day and ready for the beer provided by PCS for the ride back to the base. I will definitely be keeping an eye on the weather windows to book another great day at PCS next winter.

Had the best time exploring the back country with PCS! Happy and Kelly were awesome guides all through the day with a major focus on safety and fun.

Happy got us into the best zones where he presented us with bottomless powder and all the terrain we could ask for.

Looking forward to my next booking and highly recommend them to anyone wanting deep powder turns!
