My Bucket List Safari Vacation! Five Star Experience!

I am writing to give my highest of recommendations and appreciation for the entire Outskirt Safaris Luxury Adventures Team! I want to also give a special shout out to one of their safari adventure guides, Patrick, who took such great care of us during the safari!

A safari in Africa has always been on my bucket list, but I had no idea where to even start in planning this trip. The Outskirt Safaris team walked me through every step of the safari planning process and organized my entire all-inclusive safari vacation. I could have never imagined the wonderful experiences I’d have in Africa while traveling with Outskirt. From the time I contacted them until the time I returned back home, their team took care of everything down to the smallest of details. From the great food to the 5-star lodges, everything felt so surreal. They make sure to listen to your desires and organize your vacation in a way that is completely customized. Everything is included in the price which made the process so much easier when we arrived to the country. I can go on about my wonderful trip for hours…..

When I started planning my trip to Africa I quickly got overwhelmed because it is such a foreign place. I ended up choosing Outskirt Safaris to help organize my trip. All I had to do was tell them what I wanted to do and see during my vacation, and they made it happen! As soon as I exited the airport in Entebbe, their guides picked me up and took care of every detail thereafter. Robert, their point of contact in the United States, was attentive and enthusiastic to answer all my questions. Patrick, their head guide in Africa, was extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and showed amazing hospitality. They gained my complete trust. During the trip we saw everything we could have asked for and more... rhinos, zebras, chimps, lions, baboons, giraffe, elephants, all sorts of birds, crocodiles, hippos, monitor lizards, all sorts of gazelles and antelopes, a large variety of monkeys, warthogs, a leopard, and more. The food on this trip was absolutely amazing as well, and the people of Uganda took great pride in serving delicious meals. If you want to have a trip of a lifetime without any stress of a foreign country, I highly recommend Outskirt Safaris to give you unforgettable memories.

I feel so fortunate to have found this boutique travel company that specializes in adventure and luxury.

In the US, Robert listened to all our desires and fit them into our itinerary. Want to see elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, antelope, and lions in their natural environments? No problem. Want to ride in a hot air balloon over the savannah? Done. Want to travel for eleven days rather than ten? Got it. And he added suggestions of his own such as visiting the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, cruising down the Nile River, walking to the top of Murchison Falls, and horseback riding with zebras -- even scheduling a massage on our final afternoon before returning to the states.

When we arrived at Entebbe airport in Uganda, Patrick took over, guiding us through the chaos of the city, helping us exchange dollars into Ugandan shillings, and settling us into the luxurious Serena Hotel to rest before embarking upon our adventures. We could never have negotiated the roads and exchanges without his expertise.

We did not need to worry about covering any expenses except for tips and souvenirs. We just immersed ourselves in exotic views as Outskirt Safaris took care of all the driving and accommodations, arranging for National Park entries and ranger-guides for all of our game drives. Patrick was always willing to stop the vehicle whenever an interesting animal -- monkey, elephant, antelope, colorful bird -- appeared alongside the road.

After a full day of exploration, we fully appreciated the remote yet luxurious safari lodges. Gracious hosts, delicious food, stunning views from our private verandas -- our relaxing evenings rejuvenated us, preparing us for another day of adventuring.

I cannot sing Outskirt Safaris’ praises loud enough. Anticipating my desires and exercising their expertise, they more than fulfilled my life-long dream of visiting Africa. Anyone who wants an exotic yet personalized, carefree, and comfortable adventure should book their trip through this company.
