I'm staying here for lineman college and I feel that there's more cons instead of pros.

For one, the shared kitchen is not the best due to the fact that the microwave is broken, there is no garbage disposal which causes people to leave trash everywhere.

The shared units are alright, I stayed in the two rooms one bathroom unit so I had space of my own room, but if you go with the bunks good luck as they're severely crowded. Basic necessities are given like a fridge, microwave, and desk that's about it. Couldn't imagine living in the bunk rooms though.

The worst part of the inn is the car situation. There is no exaggeration a total of 15 break ins/stolen cars (that I know of) for the second term of 2023, mine included. The inn NEEDS to do something about this whether it's installing a private gate for parking, hired security, more cameras, etc anything would help. Essentially it's our problem if cars get stolen even though we park in their lot. Ridiculous. Not to mention how horrible the parking situation itself is.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone. You're much better off finding private housing that's cheaper, far better amenities, and safer overall. Do yourself a favor and DONT stay here.

Biggest dump in the northwest. Don't sign up for a meal plan unless you want what's basically prison slop served to you by ex drug addicts. Owners suck and lie about what they provide for you online. The 5 star reviews for this place seem fake and were probably fabricated by the owner.

This place is overflowing with history. Beautiful inside and out. The ballroom is available for rental events. The upstairs are dorm rooms for the local line man college. There are back and white pictures adorning the walls to take you back in history.

BEWARE, DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want your car stolen or broken into. The parking for students is extremely ghetto in the span of a month and half they have broke into/stolen 20 cars. Just this morning 9/27/23 they broke into/stole 5 cars. Save your money and stay else where there are no cameras or no security. No one is doing anything about the car situations which is just ridiculous, all the money they are charging to stay here they should be more on top of their security.

Lived here while I went to NLC. For a "dorm" you think they would have good wifi, it's terrible, so bad I never actually used it successfully I had to upgrade my plan so I could use my hotspot. They love to preach the camaraderie of their dorm atmosphere yet they don't unlock downstairs restrooms right by the study room (which had a broken printer in it and a white board with no markers) so we didn't have to run all the way back to our dorm just to pee. The womens was always unlocked but not the mens. NLC is 99% guys. Way too expensive for what they give you. Vending machines never worked. Nobody around to ever answer questions. No place to put things in the bathroom. They will nickel and dime you the whole way through your term. Please spend alot less money and live somewhere else while at NLC.

My son stayed at the Historic Oroville Inn while attending North Lineman College in 2020-2021. Arwin Finkle and the staff at the Inn were awesome to work with. They were respectful, accommodating, professional, and kind. Cost was reasonable, Inn was quaint, clean, and quiet. My son liked the proximity to NLC, which made it an ideal place for him to live while attending college. I highly recommend the Historic Oroville Inn.
