The room was very clean, it smelled nice, and the a/c worked well, but there was a grasshopper inside the room. I left it alone, and it dud the same. The office clerk, Carlos, was very friendly, informative, and professional! I will stay there again on future trips to Orland.

Friendly night service as well as a lil cutie for check out. Awesome HOT water for days.
Best not-continental breakfast I've ever had

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. I have always enjoyed this place. The rooms are roomy, clean, well organized and free of smoke, mold, and/or mildew smell.
The facility is located at the end of a strip mall with a grocery store, discount store, Chinese restaurant, and an array of other services. All within a half of a block from the hotel.
The pool is spacious and well cared for. The pool has a privacy fence around it that helps protect one from the winds that can go through Orland.
I was very tired, hungry, and not in the best of moods when I arrived at the check-in desk. The gracious manner of the night clerk was refreshing. She disseminated check-in, check-out, room details, Wifi details, with ease and proficiency. She smiled and laughed in just the right amount of portions one didn't get overwhelmed. A definite asset to this facility. If I should travel there again I would only consider this facility just because of this positive experience.

I met three staff by name during my stay, and let me say that from the moment I called to ask about availability at 2am until the moment I checked out, Tyler, Mayra, and Amy were some of the most phenomenal hotel staff I've ever met. The cleaning staff were also very kind and thorough, and when asked for extra toiletries, literally brought two of everything in her cart for me to pick from. They are Good People, and if you need a place to stay anywhere in the area, I highly recommend them. This is a cute, nostalgic motel set up, and while it isn't a luxury resort, the rooms are clean, well furnished, have USB charging stations and modern day appliances. The beds are comfortable, with multiple pillow options provided. Our Service Animals were treated with respect and kindness, as well. Their provided pet area is not fenced, but it is grassed and large. Right across the parking lot are a restaurant, 24 hours gym, a Dollar Tree and Grocery Outlet, as well as a laundry mat and a Thai restaurant! There is a bus stop literally right outside. There was a disruptive guest who was causing quite a commotion, and unlike most places, they not only took care of it by removing the guest, but did so without law enforcement needing to be involved, and with compassion for the guest's situation. I'm extremely impressed.
Best lodgings decision I've ever made in a crisis. 10/10 Recommend.

We were in Chico for my son's graduation a couple weeks ago. At the last minute, the hotel I had booked 2 months before, notified us they wouldn't be open yet and I had to scramble to find 3 rooms for one night. Due to graduation, there was not much available. I was hesitant to book here, but figured we were just sleeping for one night and it would be fine. It was surprisingly much better than fine. Unbelievable quiet considering it backs up to the freeway. Never heard any noise. Rooms were very tidy and included nice pillows, a mini-fridge, microwave and small table and two chairs. They serve fresh coffee in the lobby and had fresh fruit available plus packaged breakfast rolls. The owner or manager was out sweeping the walkways in the morning. The area around the Inn felt very clean and safe. There is a small but attractive pool as well.

Centrally located for where I needed to be. The room was clean and well maintained . The services available were within reason for the price point. The front office customer service was outstanding.
The stay was quiet and restful.

The ONLY hotel in Orland and Thank God it is a good one! Bummer they drained the pool for repairs, but that’s okay. Been here before when Pool was open and it makes hotel life much better. Rooms are very clean and the beds are crazy comfortable! They even have smoking rooms. They allow pets too. Coffee all day from 5am on and it’s good coffee. Lots of fruit and pastries for breakfast. Microwave and fridge in rooms. Oh yeah, there’s a Thai Restaurant that’s incredible, Grocery Outlet, Dollar Tree, Wholesale Store, which has great prices and South Street Deli, which is fantastic IN THE SAME LOT as hotel. Gas Station across the street. Perfect location! Even plenty of parking room for the big rigs! Everything you need within walking distance. Even a grassy area for pets. Right off the 5. My room for 1 person was $99 a night!

I had the privilege to stay at the Orland Inn for ten nights while in the area working. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, the hotel was spotless inside and out. The pool area was very well taken care of and the hotel actually provide pool toys for children. The gazebo area was equally as impressive with its very clean environment and the hotel also provides all the working tools (charcoal not included) to enjoy a successful cookout. Throughout my stay, there were no issues with noise. All of the other hotel guests were all extremely pleasant. Should I ever find myself needing to stay in Orland California, definitely be my choice accommodations.
