Myself and my partner went on one hour horse ride on the trail with Leslie, Gina and Lora. Leslie was a great guide. She taught us the instructions well and made sure we were safely seated. The entire experience was surreal. We had enough time to enjoy the ride, and have a nice chat.
Trail is very private and peaceful. We saw some deers on the ride too.
I would recommend this to my friends and go back again.

Great horseback riding experience. The trail ride leader, Leslie, was excellent! I recommend. If/when we return to Gordonsville, we will ride with them again.

Scenic views, quite horses, and David Lamb as a guide make for an amazing ride no matter what the weather. Trustworthy horses offer a comfortable ride that enable one to enjoy the beautiful ride up and down the mountain and through the fields. But one of my favorite parts of the ride have always come from having David Lamb as the trail guide. He is a true horseman and an avid historian. He taught me to know trees by their bark and not just their foliage. I have always appreciated riding on Oakland Heights as I walk away recharged mind, body, and soul. A total five star experience.

Incredibly fun, horses are well trained and polite. There is a lot of history there, the trail guides are knowledgeable about it. I had a wonderful time, and I would recommend going to others.
