We had an amazing afternoon thanks to Lisa and her amazing knowledge of the geology, history and culture of Sedona and Arizona - both past and present.
We stopped at multiple locations to take in the awe inspiring views. Lisa provided insight and great story telling as our admiration for Sedona grew. She also had lots of suggestions for more things to do on our own which was really appreciated. We felt we could prioritize our entire trip and maybe even plan some return trips - so the benefits go way beyond just the time spent on this tour.
After some great picture taking we travelled to a wonderful spot for horseback riding.
Going in the late afternoon we were able to make our way up to a vista above the ranch and enjoy the sunset while having a great time with our guide and of course, thanks to our horses whom did most of the work.

We look forward to possibly doing the Grand Canyon tour with her next time we visit.

WARNING PLEASE DO NOT BOOK.
I called a month ago to book a 2 hour private horse back ride with cantering with my sister. I was told the private rides are $250 each and there would be cantering and creek crossing. When I arrived she had us booked with Wild Horse Adventures which was with 8 others for 1 hour and it was a walking only ride. After talking to the wrangler because I was up front is when I found out it was a walking trail only and was 1 hour. My sister asked another guest what the cost of the ride was and it's $125. My sister and I paid double and it wasn't what was expected and agreed upon. Lisa acted like she was apart of the company and said I was paying for her guide and expertise. Lisa had no part in guiding anyone because she was in the very back and isn't affiliated with this company. When confronted she was hostile and irritated because she'd been caught in her lies. Please beware and do not book with her. She will over charge you double and not produce what was promised.

We had 2 tours with Lisa. She is a very knowledgeable guide with a degree in geology and an enormous knowledge and personal experience about the natives culture, specially the navajos. She is very sweet and friendly, so easy to speak to. She had knowledge and information to share with us every minute of the tour. She will cater the tour according to your likings and interests. The first tour experience was a private horse back riding at a beautiful ranch. It was thrilling going up the mountains and the view was outstanding. We actually did some good throttling and even some cantering which was really cool as opposed to usual the regular (somewhat boring) slow horse back riding that most of the tours provide. Off course they will assess your horse experience before that and cater to you preference.
The second tour was the Grand Canyon. Beautiful breathtaking place. We first stop at a local restaurant to try some traditional fry bread and local food for lunch and we stop at some trading stores to see some native art and jewelry which also explained a lot of the native cultures. Lisa other half is a Navajo, so she really know the true traditions and does a great job and teaching us their history and cultural background.
We had a wonderful time both days that we spent with her company and I’m looking forward to seeing her again and booking more tours with her next time I’m in Sedona. Hopefully this next time I will be able to have a even more immersive experience at the navajo culture and Sedona’s area spiritual beauty.

Lisa took my 12 year old son and I to the reservation and the south rim of the Grand Canyon. It was fantastic. She was VERY knowledgeable about local tribes, geology, and the area in general. She was personable, easy to talk to, and accommodating when my son got altitude sickness. She even recommended other activities for us in the area. There were many highlights during my recent trip to Sedona, AZ, but meeting Lisa Brewer and her tour companies, OAK CREEK CANYON TOUR and ROCKIN' THE VIEW was extra-special. Lisa is uniquely qualified to introduce and explain all the incredible natural beauty of the Red Rocks and history of the area. She has a degree in Geology and is totally immersed in and familiar with the Navajo and other Southwest Indian cultures. She speaks Navajo!
