Excellent spot for family vacations. Beautiful hiking trail that leads right into Minocqua not to mention the fishing and swimming to be had with the lake. This particular rental is ideal for family - very clean, accommodating and wonderful space to enjoy quality time with the ones you love.

My family and I travel up north often and have stayed at many place. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed at for our whole family. We stayed in a beach front cabin that was literally just a few feet from the water. We were able to sit on our patio area and watch the kids playing at the beach with no problem. They have many large firepits to use for bon fires at night, which we did. And for the price, for the space you get with a full kitchen, you couldn't get any better. We saved so much money on food costs during our family trip just because we didn't have to go out to eat every meal like we have had to while staying at hotels. Overall, this is a great place to stay. Close to downtown Minocqua and the management was very pleasant. Will definitely be returning.

Nice clean cabins. Kitchens are well equipped. Playground is great for the kids and the beach is nice too. Having pontoon rentals & firewood there is also convenient. Laundry is also available so we didn't have to pack so much. It's so nice to have the walking trail go right by the resort. It's probably only a half mile walk to town. The walk is fun too as you get to cross two railroad bridges. If you're looking for more exercise just hang a left on the trail instead of a right toward town. The trail is also for bicycles but a pass must be purchased.

This was my family's second time staying at Nitschke's, the people that manage this property are wonderful and it is a great location! Beautiful beach area with a swing set for children and docks for boats! We saw deer go for a swim while sitting around the bonfire! Close to everything Minocqua has to offer! Great trail that'll take you right into downtown!

Unfortunately the cabin that we stayed in this time was not as wonderful as the location. I do not recommend paying what it costs to stay in cabin #6. It is extremely outdated with the bare minimum required to have a family stay for the week. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, l truly think I would of been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. Furniture was outdated, worn and partially broken in some rooms. The owners of this cabin in particular have some work to do. I will be back but not to cabin #6!

Checked in Saturday, Bridget was very nice and made check in go smooth and fast. Place is very clean and has mostly everything you need to get by for a week. I'm pretty picky about my bedding and brought my own. Got to say that I didn't even pull it out. Big beach, great for kids of all ages. Nice big slips for boats that are away from the beach area. Guests are friendly and clean up after themselves. I would stay here again and leave my own bedding at home.

I love this place! We stayed there every summer until we moved. Very nice little cabins and great view of the lake! I love ho we can easily walk into town on that trail!

Awesome place for a family vacation.||Went during 4th of July week and couldn't ask for better weather.||Owners were great and always asked if there was anything that we needed. Beach was clean and home was spotless. We could dock our boat in the water up to one of many piers. Easy walking distance to town for parade or just to get a bite to eat. Will be back next year for sure!!!

Resort is amazing! Location is perfect. Can walk to town via the trail. Has a beach, piers, firepits and views! Shannon was very helpful, so nice! Definitely coming back!
