NCMT is simply the best equestrian program of its kind. All the horses are donated - no privately owned horses. All the riders learn to ride all the horses that meet their abilities. Plus the therapeutic program is changing people’s lives. Love this place.

I love ncmt! It is a place where your child can get new friends, be more active, be with horses and they have a great riding program because I ride there myself. They have a variety of horses you could be on and a great barnday!

The NC mounted troop is a horrible program. I know 3 people that have gone there for 5 years and they haven't even learned to jump yet. I have also been riding for 5 years and I am jumping 2'7. They also make you pay to do work like sweeping, mucking stalls, folding horse stuff and so much more. I am currently going to Starbuck Equestrian in ridgefield ct. It's amazing there! They have a great variety of school horses and ponies, 4 instutors, many leasing options and so much more. Also you can volunteer at SE and not have to pay the ridiculous amount of money that NC mounted troop charges. You also must be at least 10 years old to volunteer. Please please don't waste your money here!!
